  • AGENCY FIGHT: ON THE PQ (PLATNER QUESTION)

    Well.

Technically, I am off Takes at the moment. But sometimes Opportunity knocks.

A friend of mine from The Agency (CIA? Fight.Agency? Barbizon? I will never tell) called me up this afternoon and asked me for my Take on the Platner Thing.

“You mean the Platner QUESTION?” I grinned. “What about it?”

“Poolhouse, I just know you’ll have… a take like none other,” she said. “If you were advising the campaign, what kinds of defenses would you be workshopping right now?”

“Now listen here, madame,” I replied. You should always rely on mid-Atlantic accents when you find yourself in a situation with spooks like this. “Before I go and give you free advice, just cuz you did me a favor that one time with whole the J6 charges thing, why don’t you answer me this: you have access to some of the best and brightest political minds in the country up there in the District Metro Area. Why are you calling me for this?”

She groaned. “The best and brightest are all retards now, Poolhouse. You know this.” I heard her light her cigarette, Marlboro Ultra Lights 100s if I had to guess, and take a drag. “Nobody can extract the Contrarian Take quite like you, or as fast as you do. Come on, do it for your country.”

I had no idea what she meant by that, but I tend to resort to default patriotism in these situations. I assume the drive to replace Susan Collins has something to do with Deep Magic warfare, but that’s none of my business. I am a simple American, eager to serve!

I began to unveil my white-hot nuclear takes, gigachad galaxy-brain levels of contrarianism, but my friend paused me.

“No, don’t tell me. You and I never spoke,” she cackled. “I literally do not know you, girl! You are nobody to me. Nothing.”

“Okay, okay, I get your point, gosh–”

“Don’t tell me,” she hissed again. “Tell them!” And then my Deep State gal pal hung up the phone.

But by Them, I knew that she meant YOU, dear Backklashista, and assorted remote-viewing audience members and distinguished guest listeners!

So gather round for the blistering analysis from Poolhouse on the Platner situation, coming right off the griddle of today’s breaking news and new allegations. In this short transmission, Poolhouse expands on his unique and incisive perspective on the PQ (Platner Question), which holds insights for listeners across the spectrum: left, right, and center. In his singular pop-art radio style, Poolhouse delivers tonight’s sermon on why it literally does not matter if Graham Platner is a literal N*zi R*pist (!!) – because if you are not playing to WIN in 2026, then you need to play at all costs.

Not that I “play” politics at all, of course. This is merely a media analysis on a breaking news event from my distinctive octolectical perspective, and should not be construed as representing political advice or the views of BACKKLASH Communications. I am merely offering this random perspective to anyone who might haphazardly stumble upon it and benefit from it.

    THANK U AND GOOD NITE!

    — Poolhouse

Oso and Poolhouse are back with another edition of I WAS THERE!™, the internet’s favorite call-in radio show. • FAN DEMANDED feat CRYPP [@cryptid_papi]

You don’t just WANT it. You don’t simply NEED it. You DEMANDED it… HERE COMES THE BACKKLASH… a pop art radiotronic broadcast that is as PURE and TRUE as it gets

    …

In spring of 2025, Poolhouse and his dear mutual Crypp, aka cryptid_papi, got together for one of them Very Special Episodes of HERE COMES THE BACKKLASH… you know, the kind that quietly shifts the entire landscape of the culture in the wake of the tremendous POOLQUAKE unleashed by its pure vibes alone. But this one was particularly special.

The combo of Poolie and Crypp speaking on the HQ, the homosex question, amounted to a simple but completely radical reorientation in perspective on male sexuality, at least when contrasted with the societal status quo. Men are sexual creatures, and they have sex with each other sometimes. This leads to various outcomes for various men’s lives, and can be contextualized in many different ways morally, religiously, and politically. But ultimately, by virtue of their nature, men are sexual creatures. And they sometimes have sex with each other!

The unflinching candor your boys demonstrated on this topic changed the energy on the subject for Western civilization, once and for all. And now they have reunited one year later, not so much to continue the conversation but to react to it, underscore it, and plumb new depths in the basic social and psychological thermodynamics that sustain a subtle, widespread repression of male sexuality worldwide throughout the ages.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL. This is a positively electric, high-octane, double-triple-fire-sign supersize broadcast, destined to touch your heart and stir the spirit. Where else will you find two alphahomo California goldenboys maximizing their joint slay? From cryptic nationalism to energy drinks to Spielberg’s filmography as a metaphor for American decline… to… well, yes… M-M-MADONNA… this is the episode you didn’t know you needed, dear Backklashista, but you do.

Because… We Get It – and so do you <3

  • MAKE A BANANA STAND

Wouldn’t you know it? I WAS THERE made a triumphant return on June 7 – but the boys are so unc, they didn’t make any 6-7 jokes :(

What they lack in Gen Alpha mimetic prowess, they more than make up for in turbo-elder-millennial WISDOM, as this episode proves in spades. Poolhouse and Oso Blanco are BACKK to discuss everything from what the latest round of “millennial hipster” discourse gets wrong, to the lingering trauma inflicted by scenesters, lowbrow AI soap opera slop, and whether there are any redeeming characters to be found in the Banana Man vs the 45 Year Old Punk Rockers. PLUS many of our favorite regular callers return to the air, including the good homies PunishedBPHM, Officer Erik Blair, Dap Man, and Lobster Thermidor.

Honestly, what more do you need? Pour yourself a nice tall glass of Arizone iced tea, let your hair down, and press play…your gang of radio besties await…

  • SAVE THE RAVE

so just what is a “pop art pirate radio all-American alchemical samizdat,” indeed?

it’s everything you’ve ever wanted from the dazzling cosmic calculus that governs this very intimate moment we call the Here and Now.

DJ POOLHOUSE — your favorite rabble-rousing, cosmic-crusading, autistic radio jazz savant and ultimate big bro — is BACKK, and he is BETTER THAN EVER, so frankly: fuck u if u doubted him. (Notchu, beloved Backklashista. Never u.)

SAVE THE RAVE isn’t just a radiotronic sermon from one of the most provocative underground iconoclasts of the post-post-everything era. It’s a pop art relic, a pirate transmission, an all-American alchemical samizdat, and a neon-streaked proof-of-life from the sacred broadcasting booth at the edge of the Here and Now.

because sometimes, the sky math just works out so well that Poolhouse drops one of his most stimulating, articulate, and creative episodes of the year on a random Thursday evening. It’s the kind you are only gonna be able to Get if you are willing to Receive it.

    and no, this isn’t AI.

we just talk like this now.

  • IS THIS MACHINE ART?

In tonight’s HERE COMES THE BACKKLASH: Poolhouse delivers a wandering Takecel transmission through AI, creativity, collapsing meaning, secret star systems, data centers, and the strange new reality where machines uncannily mirror reality itself.. Part cybernetic apologia, part psychic weather report, Poolhouse touches down from his radiotronic realm beyond the static veil to ask whether or not AI critics are even asking the right questions about technology writ large.

  • INSIPID POPULISSIP

Poolhouse reflects on how America’s shift toward populism has reshaped traditionally non-political media sectors, including the celebrity gossip and true crime industrial complexes. He examines how this trend has manifested in coverage of recent events such as the Blake Lively vs. Justin Baldoni dispute, while also drawing lessons from his own coverage of the D4vd case.
