Old school rules that Gen Z ignore, for ex:
- The customer is always right
- The 9-to-5 grind is the gold standard
- You should dress for the job you want, not the job you have
- The politics or religion conversation is inappropriate
- You must save for a rainy day
- The corporate ladder is the only path to success
- The white picket fence is the dream
- You can retire at 65
- The man should be the breadwinner
- The college degree equals job security lie
Financial tasks you can get done in just an hour, for ex: see if you have unclaimed assets, ask your cell phone provider for a better deal, check your credit and then freeze it, etc.
