In today’s second hour, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing a Philadelphia Inquirer column about Chris Rock’s new Netflix special that took issue with a joke where Rock explained why he didn’t fight back against Will Smith, telling that his parents taught him, ‘don’t fight in front of white people.’ The column argues that this is an admittance of the comedian prioritizing the thoughts of white people over his own feelings, which causes Dom to respond about why jokes are important in moving forward society. After that, Dom returns back to discussing the Republican Party after this weekend’s CPAC, telling that he’ll be at a conference in New Jersey coming up speaking as a panelist. Dom goes point by point through suggestions he heard over the weekend, explaining how he would slightly alter some of the rhetoric into a political winner. Then, Dom spends a good chunk of the hour breaking down the upcoming January 6th footage in possession of Tucker Carlson, explaining why he refuses to call the events an ‘insurrection,’ and why he willingly admits it was indeed a ‘riot.’ (Photo by Alex Wong/Getty Images)
