  • What can't live rent free, You! feat. Nadine Little

You all know the saying "lives rent free in my head," well we are chatting NOT living rent free in real life on this episode. We are joined by licensed Paralegal Nadine Little of Little Paralegal Services. Recently, we have been hearing about issues with tenants and landlords coming up in our social circles. So we wanted to talk to someone that actually knows about the laws of the rental world, what rights do tenants and landlords have, dealing with "squatters" and how to protect yourself before entering into any type of rental agreement. Nadine also clears up a misconception about eviction that we were "today years old when we learned..." Highly recommend tuning in for this one if you are looking to become a landlord or a tenant. We also celebrate the first day of Mask Mandates being dropped and share a new "I was today year's old when..."

  • An 'O'de to the ladies! feat. Remy Kassimir

Happy International Women's Day to all the incredible women out there doing their thing and doing it their way! On HERspective we are constantly celebrating women and how amazing we all truly are; that's kind of the point of the show anyway. This episode is no exception, we are joined by the undeniably hilarious, brave and genious, New York comedian and creator of the  wildly popular, 'How Cum' podcast, Remy Kassimir. We are talking to Remy about acheiving and NOT acheiving the big 'O' as she shares her struggle and journey to finally having an orgasm. We unpack why so many women who have experienced the same kind of struggle just accept it as normal or label themselves as "broken." Remy gets into why it took her so long to acheive and how she realized she wasn't "broken." The "How Cum" podcast has grown into a huge and aptly named, "cummunity" with "cumpanions" all over the world and has helped so many women. We share a listeners "I was today year's old when..." moment and the one from last week apparently wasn't ready to take a back seat yet as we circle back to hymen reconstruction. This episode is a total 'O'de to all our ladies out there, cheers to you all!

  • The ugly truth about abuse in professional sports feat. Erin Willson

It sometimes seems hard to believe that professional athletes, like Olympians would ever experience any negative treatment let alone full on abusive treatment, but unfortunately it is a harsh reality for many of them. We are joined by the wonderful Erin Willson, currently a UofT PhD candidate and formerly a professional artistic swimming athlete from the 2012 Canadian Olympic team to discuss the serious issue of psychological abuse in professional sports. Erin is studying abuse in sport and its prevention, an area that she became interested in, particularly emotional abuse as this is what she experienced while on a National team. Erin talks to us about how psychological abuse is normalized and accepted in sports and often flies under the radar as it is not a criminal offence, like sexual or physical abuse. However, it is equally damaging and causes serious trauma and lasting negative effects to many athletes, which is why it needs to be talked about, banned from sports and the abusers need to be held accountable and face harsher consequences. Erin opens our eyes to a dark side of sports we had no idea about. At the top of the show we get dish on some celeb gossip, i.e. Free Britney (duh) and Elon Musks distasteful publicity stunt as well as Lauren shares how she really feels about a federal Covid policy. It's a juicy one!!!
