The Regenerative Bodywork System.Well, air and oxygen are the base and most fundamental part of healing (and living). September 28, 2024Mending Brokenness with Light. Ancient wisdom for modern times.I remembered the Japanese tradition of mending broken pottery cracks with gold, a concept that shows us that there is more beauty in the things cracked and repaired than even the original. The ragged lines are sealed with glittering gold, not to hide them but to showcase them, not with shame, but highlighting its new life. And on a practical level, making ceramics in ancient ways with your hands meant it took months to process. What does it teach us about our value system?Substack- follow along with pictures and transcriptionhttps://meganyoungmee.substack.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/meganyoungmee/...more6minPlay

I remember seeing an article many years ago about a hospice worker’s takeaways and learnings from a lifetime of serving people next to their bedside as they died. She sat and listened to the many stories of those knowing it was time to leave this earth. September 25, 2024Facing Fear & Coming Alive AgainFear is massive force of nature that is really wonderfully, disruptive. It can make you rise above staying where you are. I realized every choice I had ever made had been based on some level of fear. Until we are able to face them, they drive us. I realize my travel notes have been sobering and difficult at times this week. Most travel stories are external. Pretty photos, amazing realizations, and only showing the nice stuff. These writings were about my internal journey and looked at culturally accepted norms of consumption, addiction, screentime, time, and money and my relationship to them.It was simply something I had look at deeply and question before I felt I could move forward. I wanted to face things I was seeing and experiencing in the world with open eyes. I wanted to break down and break apart those old heavy ideas and see if I could move on feeling lighter and more in balance.Going forward I’ll be posting about how I have been finding new ways of living and healing that stemmed from the questions I asked on the internal journey I’ve shared with you here.Follow along with pictures:https://substack.com/@meganyoungmee/...more4minPlay
