It's never been easier to start a business, whether that's an initial side hustle or something you're going all in on. The practicality of doing it may be easily accessible, but the biggest challenge can sometimes be overcoming the limiting beliefs in your mind. Despite having a great idea or strategy, our mindset can sometimes paralyse us from even starting, so how do we understand and address these limiting beliefs, to allow us to pursue what we truly want in our business and life.
To discuss this, I'm joined by Entrepreneur, YouTube guru, Speaker and creator of Detail Therapy podcast Amy Landino.
Amy will be sharing the limiting beliefs she faced when she first started and why limiting beliefs exist. We're also discussing some of the toughest ones to overcome when building a business, the impacts they can have on you and most importantly, how you can begin to address these. So if you feel you've got limiting beliefs holding you back or paralysing you from starting, then tune in!
In the evolution of our working culture and how immersed we can become with work, it's important to be aware of how important it is to be aware and promote wellness in the workplace. But with it being such a big topic and something so current, it's important you look at it through a cultural change perspective, as opposed to a tick box exercise. So what does wellness look like currently and how do businesses, of all sizes, ensure they're enabled to support it as we continue to evolve.
To discuss this very point, I'm joined by Head of Workplace Wellbeing Programmes (Strategy and Development) at Mind, Faye McGuinness.
Faye and I will be talking about why there has been a shift in the focus towards wellness in the workplace and what that has looked like. She'll also share ideas and advice on how smaller businesses can support it and also how leaders can be the driving force behind it. If you see wellness as an integral part to your business, career and overall life, then be sure to tune in!
One of the key signs of a good leader, is someone who can build a strong team around them, wherever they go within their career. Now we often hear examples of how people do this, but not enough is talked about how not to do it also. We all know we can learn as much, if not more, from our mistakes, so what are some of the things to avoid, as well as focus on?
To discuss this, I'm joined by Chief Strategy Officer of NaturesPlus & former SVP eCommerce at Vayner Media, Sabir Semerkant.
Sabir and I will be talking through his experience of building successful teams and the challenges he's faced along the way. He'll be sharing his tips of what to look for in someone, depending on the type and size of business you're looking to build. Be sure to tune in!
You've probably seen mindfulness references in articles, posts and content a lot more recently. The understanding and impact of it, is becoming clearer, but in order for us to truly embrace it, we need organisations to provide the structures and foundations. But how do organisations go about doing this, from the big to the small, to ensure they're creating an environment for mindfulness and the benefits from it?
Well, to talk about this, I'm joined this week by Founder of OutsideIN Performance, Executive Performance Coach and Keynote Speaker, Angie Vaux.
Angie and I will talk through why there has been a shift towards a focus on mindfulness in the workplace and the benefits it can have from doing so. She'll also share advice for companies, big or small, looking to implement it and how we can begin to remove the stigmas attached to it in the work environment.
Social media has changed the way we buy, engage and network with one another. It's also provided a platform for everyone to be seen. One of the best ways to utilise this, is content creation.
But what goes into making great content, that doesn't just make someone think or feel better as a result, but also creates opportunities for your business. How do you create content that sells?
To answer this question, I'm joined on this week's episode by Richard Moore; Business Mentor, Sales Coach and Founder of Entrepreneur Business Live.
Richard and I will be talking through the art of content creation, starting with what you need to consider when creating content. We'll be discussing the types of content that work well and how you can overcome some of your fears then creating it. If you want to get a better understanding and direction on creating content that moves your business forwards, then tune in.
