First up; the awareness and popularity of podcasts has been rising year on year recently, with many people wanting to jump on the wagon and get involved to create their own. Social media has given us a great opportunity to be heard and seen more than ever before. LinkedIn, in particular, has evolved. It's not just a space to go when you need a job. It's a space to be able to connect with some incredible people, build relationships and create opportunities for your business. But what are the best ways to build relationships and opportunities on this platform? Plus, what should you avoid when doigg so, to ensure you're building a strong personal brand?
To answer that, this week's episode of Not Another Sales Podcast features Judi Fox, Video & Content Strategist, Speaker and LinkedIn guru, with over 3 million video and content views in 2018.
We'll start are off by talking about the differences between building relationships and opportunities online vs offline. We are happy to talk about when we feel tired, physically ill or injured, but refrain from doing so when it's linked to our mental health. Mental health issues don't discriminate and we can sometimes feel we need to suppress them or perhaps not fully acknowledge them. But that isn't the answer; we need to as a collective, particularly men, become more open with talking about it, creating platforms through the use of social media and face to face, to encourage others to feel comfortable in talking about it.
Whilst we can't solve this in one episode of a podcast, we can be part of that collective voice. So on this week's episode of Not Another Sales Podcast, I'm joined by Sales Leader and Mentor, Michael David Chapman.
Michael will be sharing his experience, insights and very raw story of the mental health issues he has faced in his life so far. We'll be talking about ways in which organisations can support this and advice for those who feel they may be in this space. This is linked to Mental Health Awareness week, so I would ask if you find the episode useful, send it onto a friend.

Stress is a phrase that is often thrown around on a daily basis, quite often in a negative context. Some people dread it, others accept it as part of their role and there's those who know it drives them. Stress can be positive or negative and the way you utilise and manage it, comes down to your mindset towards it. Even if you thrive off of stress, it can easily lead to burnout, which can have damaging impacts on your health and life. So how do we utilise and manage stress more effectively.
In this week's episode of Not Another Sales Podcast, I'm joined by Anxiety Specialist and Speaker, Katie Maycock.
Katie and I are talking all about stress; the good, the bad and the ugly (as Katie would say). We'll be talking about the signs of stress and burnout. the impacts it can have on it and how you can become more self-aware of stress. If you want to become more mindful of how you manage and utilise stress in your everyday life, then tune in!
Human connection is something we must hang onto and be mindful of through this evolution around us. Whether it's with our customers, colleagues or family; how we truly connect with someone will determine our outcomes in life and business. But what does it mean to create an EPIC human connection; well it's an acronym for Empathy, Presence, Intention and Connection; 4 key components needed to truly engage and understand one another.
This acronym was created by my guest this week on Not Another Sales Podcast; Alison Fischer. Alison is a transformation leader, who empowers humans in life and business. She has over 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles.
Alison will be sharing the context and story behind the creation of EPIC, why it's so essential to be mindful of and the benefits it can bring to you in life and your career. So if you want to become more aligned and mindful of how to create true human connection, whether it's with your customers, colleagues or family, then tune in.
There is a lot of discussion about how technology has evolved, not just in how we buy, but how we need to sell. An important aspect linked to this, is how managers and leaders adapt and evolve their ways to support this. What are some of the elements, changes and approaches that need to be reflected on and adapted; have you started thinking about these?
To discuss this, I'm joined by VP of Marketing at Outreach and CEO & Founder of Sales Hacker, Max Altschuler.
Max will be sharing the things he has noticed in the way in which sales has evolved and what sales managers need to focus on and avoid, to be successful in the current day, He'll also be sharing what he learnt from those who managed him over his career and how people can begin to become more effective at sales management. If you want to take stock of your approach and get some new ideas on how to evolve your management, then tune in.
Every individual has some form of goals or dreams they want to achieve, whether it's a small idea or something that is spurring you on each day. The challenge with these goals is that we can sometimes only invest a small amount of time being clear on them and being accountable to achieving them. An effective way to work towards the life you want, is to manifest it. Manifesting is just taking an idea, concept, or fragment of your imagination and bringing it into your physical reality. Curious to find out more and hear from someone who's seen it change their life, then tune in to this week's episode.
I'm joined by Kathrin Zenkina, a mindset coach and success strategist for women who know deep inside that they were meant for more, and want to live the kind of lifestyle that matches that inner knowing. Kathrin also founded the brand Manifestation Babe.
In this episode Kathrin will share what life was like before this focus and passion of manifestation and how the connection came about to pursue this belief. She'll share the differences it made to her life and how she monetised it and shaped it into a multi-million business. She'll also be sharing her tips and advice throughout for those looking to bring manifestation into part of their life.
To be able to develop new opportunities within sales, you need to be constantly looking to expand your network, reaching out to people within your market who you can either sell to or learn from. In the final episode of the series, I'm joined by;
It's a crowded and competitive marketplace in this day and age, with a lot of noise of companies showcasing what they do. With this in mind, you need to be mindful and effective on how you stand out from the crowd; how you show your difference and make yourself memorable amongst all the noise.
In the third instalment of the series, I'm joined by;

For us to be able to provide our customers with a product/solution that fits their need, we need to ensure we understand their challenges and desired outcomes. It happens too often, where we jump into the pitch too early, thinking we need to show our difference from what we say. But we can also show our difference from what we ask and how we ask those questions.
In the second instalment of the series, I'm joined by:
If you want to become more equipped at truly understanding your customer's challenges, the impacts of these and their desired outcomes, then tune in!
