No doubt you've had the word niche thrown around you for the past few years now, particularly with the power of social media allowing people to have a voice, regardless of knowledge or experience. With a platform like TikTok breaking through, like every new social platform, it presents an opportunity for brand exposure and standing out from a very busy crowd; but how do you do that and most importantly, find your niche?
To answer this, I'm joined this week by TikTok Creator with +1.4 Million Followers, TikTok and Gen Z Marketing Expert Jayde Vincent.
Jayde will be sharing her story of TikTok, how she found her niche through the platform, the process behind it and why it's so important for others to find theirs. She'll also be sharing the personal development she's gained along the way. So if you're keen on engaging with TikTok and finding your niche, then tune in!
Sales is a constant evolution; we can never rest on our approach or get complacent with it, with the risk of it becoming less effective. An assumption linked to this is that knowledge and experience trump every other attribute; perhaps a few years back but not now. If you're relying on your sales experience to help you succeed, you could be missing out on achieving your full potential. Instead; you should be focusing on your authentic self when selling and how accountable you are for your own success; but why is that?
To answer that question and talk about why experience isn't so relevant anymore is Head of Partnerships @ Sales Hacker, Evangelist & Sales Engagement Podcast @ Outreach Scott Barker.
Scott will be sharing his perspective on why accountability and authenticity matter more than anything in the world of sales right now and going forwards. We'll be talking about what true accountability looks like, why they both trump the sales experience and how you can become more authentic and accountable in your sales role or business. If you want a fresh perspective on why these 2 human traits are so important in sales, then tune in!
Failure; it's a word that's often used and one we're guilty of in self-talk. We hear it used throughout society, what does it really mean and do we have a mistaken perception of what it means for us once we fail at something? How can we reframe our mindset towards it, to allow us to break free from limiting beliefs and move past challenges that we face?
To discuss this, I'm joined this week by Alex Alleyne, Strategic Sales Lead EMEA @ Twilio, Founder of Growth IQ.
Alex and I will be tackling this mistaken perception of failure. Alex will share his stories in his life that he used to believe were ones of failure, along with why we often mistake failure and how we can begin to shift our mindset towards it. If you struggle with overcoming barriers in your work and personal life or are often knocked back by believing you've failed, then this is for you!
Selling is a tough gig; regular knock backs, no's, objections and always chasing down a target. One of the biggest blockers to being successful in sales, isn't just what you're saying or doing, it's what you're thinking. Our mindset plays a crucial role in our success and consistency of it, but how do you manage it effectively and what are the best ways of doing this.
To discuss this, I'm joined on this episode of Not Another Sales Podcast by Morgan J Ingram; Director of Sales Execution & Evolution at JB Sales Training & Host of the SDR Chronicles Podcast.
We're covering why your mindset is so important when selling, the main threats to it on a daily basis and the rise in awareness of mental wellbeing in the world of sales. Morgan will also be sharing what helps him get and stay in a positive state of mind, in particular his morning routine. If you want some great insights on how to manage your mindset when selling, then tune in!
Selling has evolved, even within the last year or two, and will continue to do so, as our world does. The big question to ask yourself is, how will you? Whether you have a small business or work in the world of sales, you need to be agile and adapt your approach to fit your customers world. One of the best ways to stay agile and aware, is having a growth mindset that is open to learning; in particular coaching. Coaching provides an impartial mirror to help you work out how you can evolve, but how do you ensure you are open minded to always being coachable?
To answer this, I'm joined on this episode by Sam Downs; One of the 2019 LinkedIn Top Sales Voices, Sales Fanatic & Content Creator.
Sam will be sharing her perspective on how the world of sales has evolved, what gets in the way of sellers buying into coaching and having a growth mindset. We'll also be discussing how a Coach can gain buy in from sellers and how sellers can work on themselves, to consistently be open to developing their skills and mindset. Whether you're in sales, creating a new business or a Coach, there's something for you all here as we talk about the relevance of always being coachable; tune in!
With most of the world now online, it's no longer just about the big business brands, but rather more about our own personal brands. This is what customers are buying into these days, sometimes even before the business. It's something that's mentioned a lot, but what should we really care about when it comes to personal brand and what else do we need to consider, particularly if we're not the loudest person in the room.
To discuss this, I'm joined by Natalie Riso; Content Marketer @ 500 Startups, over 400K followers on LinkedIn & 3x LinkedIn Top Voice.
Natalie will share her perspective of personal brand, why we should be focusing on it, tips for those more introverted personalities and how to become more mindful of it, in relation to our mental wellbeing. Natalie will also be sharing her top tips on developing your personal brand, that have led to her huge growth and success through LinkedIn. If you want a fresh perspective on your personal brand, then be sure to tune in.

We can invest a lot of time in sales raising customers awareness of us, getting in front of them and starting the conversation, but sometimes overlook how we manage the process once we've done that. The sales process that a customer moves through can be a key decision factor on whether they go with you; get it wrong and they start to think about what it's like as a customer, if they're already having concerns or problems as a prospect. So how do you become more mindful of your sales process, either when building one from scratch or regularly reflecting on your existing one, even when it's working?
To answer this very question I'm joined by Tonni Bennett, Sales Director & Twilio & Consultant.
We're discussing why you should consistently be reflecting on your sales process and why it may need to evolve. We'll also cover what gets in the way and challenges of this, along with the stages you should go through to evolve or create your sales process. If you want to freshen up the way you sell or are in the process of creating a sales process in your new business, then this episode is for you!
