But first: we hope everyone’s having a safe Christmas this year! Plus Shann tells us about her recent experience at a fancy restaurant and it’s hilarious. Then she provides us with the creepy and chilling tale of the Covina Massacre—aka a killer santa—from California. After which, Chris shares about Frau Perchta, a Christmas witch who has very specific requirements in order to escape her wrath. Books! Books! Books! This week Chris offers a pseudo-review of a book she’s currently reading and doesn’t understand the hype surrounding it. We then discuss a little bit about how children dislike reading because of the way schools introduce books to them. Then Chris tells the hair-raising story of Bobbie Jo Stinnet’s murder—except she was not only murdered, but was cut into and had her fetus stolen. Then Honda tells us about Akinori Kimura, an apple farmer from Japan who had been abducted by aliens! But wait, there’s more! Honda shares a bit about the difficulty of organic apple farming and how Kimura’s somewhat of a pioneer. Maybe that’s why the aliens put him back on earth. Boy oh boy—it’s December. You know what that means? IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME! Granted, Christmas is a few weeks away, but hey, it’s never too early to get into the spirit. This week we discuss Christmas and Dinosaurs… you’ll have to listen to find out how these two topics mix. Then Shann shares a story about friendship… or rather, the violent end of one with the murder of Skylar Neese. Be careful who your friends are, folks. If their subtweets are getting a little too familiar you might want to watch your back. Chris then brings us yet another alien story—sorry to fans of Akon and alien love, this one is about the Allagash Abductions where a group of friends go out camping in hopes to catch trout but ended up being caught in the hands of aliens. Spoilers for this week’s stories: BE CAREFUL ON TRANSPORT! Okay moving on… the three of us discuss being baited and guilt tripped into giving donations and how some of these ‘donations’ might be not be well intentioned after all. Then Chris shares about the utterly mind boggling and gruesome incident of the murder of Tim McLean, who’d been attacked while riding a Greyhound bus from Edmonton to Winnipeg in Canada. This one’s hard to stomach, folks, so we recommend not eating anything while listening to it. Then Honda tells us about the insane tale of a reddit user who volunteered to sit next to someone who passed away on a plane. This week we express our displeasure at recent social media updates *cough* Flees and that shop icon thing on Instagram *cough*. Honda then tells us the eerie story of the Kobe Child Murders in Japan… where several children were assaulted and killed. It’s grueseome and we don’t want to give any spoilers, but there’s a twist in this story—so listen to find out! Also this was the case that got Chris really into true crime! Shann then shares about the Nightmarchers from Hawaii, a procession of spirits that  will kill you if you don’t look away. It’s very fascinating.
