As we quickly approach the halfway point of 2024, let's take a deep breath and pause.

The 6th month of a 6-year cycle invites us to take inventory of where our focus has been and whether or not it is on track with where we want to end 2024.


This month on HPS, we are exploring all things focus and intention. We're excited to share movement, meditation, and mindfulness practices to help you clear any stale energy, self-doubts, or karmic loops that are keeping you from showing up as the most aligned version of yourself.


This month, BK released his FIRST-EVER yoga classes! In this 4-part series, BK takes you through an introduction to the Warrior series and how to make it accessible for everyBODY. 


On this month’s podcast, we are excited to welcome Melanie St. Georges and Denise Gonzales as part of our “Women In Yoga” series. They are the heartbeats of Blissful Spirits Yoga and are responsible for mentoring BK in his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Our friend Adam Skolnick will be back on the podcast to kick off our first Mindful Parenting interview.

Hello Hidden Pearls Fam!

What a year it has been so far. We hope you all are well and staying present for all of the magic that is moving around us. This year has already brought some of our highest highs and our hardest lessons. It has asked us to spend a lot of time looking inward and has offered opportunities for us to shift our perspective and priorities. 

All in all, it has left us feeling so grateful for our community and so aligned with the work we are creating in Hidden Pearls Studio. 

How WILD that we are already in May. So many months away from the Super Bowl and already so many months closer to the start of a new season. 

Our intention with this episode is to share the practices and tools we are both using to stay present and awake with all that is moving around us. For those of you who are already on HPS and working through the classes with us - thank you for your support! GK HPP WK 20 POST-WILDCARD WEEKEND & NINER BYE WEEK / 2023 – We enter week 20 following an exciting lineup of games over the “Wildcard Weekend”. The playoff bracket is filled out for the Divisional Round this weekend, and after resting for a week the Niners spent this week preparing to host the 7th Seed Packers after they demolished the Cowboys on the road (48-32 - and it was not even that close!). Packers looked good and owned the game from start to finish. Another disappointing end of season for the Cowboys (sorry Micha, laugh now - cry later I guess?), but we shall not feel a twinge of pain for them as we look to this most important game as playoff football comes back to Levi’s on Saturday!!  It is now win or go home and Niners are right where they want to be. !2 Seed, homefield through playoffs, and a healthy and loaded roster. Pull up a chair and a favorite beverage as we review the playoff bracket, the road to the Superbowl, and the Niners game against the Packers!!

GK HPP WK 18 / GAME 17 2023 (vs RAMS in Levi’s) – HAPPY NEW YEAR again and what a happy new year it has been!! We now enter week 18, the last week of the regular season in the NFL, and while a lot of teams are still battling it out to secure their spot in the playoffs, the #1 seeds in both the NFC and AFC have been decided. The 13-3 Ravens locked up the AFC with a dominant win over the Dolphins (56-19). But more importantly for us, with the Eagles loss at home to the Cards (31-35) (thank you Kyler Murry and crew!!), along with the Niners’ road win at Washington (27-10), the Niners have locked up the NFC #1 seed and a first week bye when playoffs begin!! Congrats to all the coaches and players for fighting and scratching their way through another grueling season to put themselves in the driver’s seat in the NFC, with the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC now going through Levi’s!! Pull up a seat as we review the amazing exploits of the Niners and look at the overall playoff picture and this week’s final regular season game against the Rams, where we started Division play oh so many weeks ago!! - STAT DAD
