 युग पलट रहा है 

कुछ हाथों से छूट रहा है 

हर पल दिल धड़क रहा है ,

एक युग पलट रहा है ...

गुनगुनी धूप करवट ले रही है ..

मौसम का रुख बदल रहा है ..

याद के साए दूर टंगे लालटेन से ...

कुछ परछाइयां पकड रहे हैं ..

बेबस हैं ..

लाचार हैं 

केवल अपना हाथ मल रहे हैं ..

कैसी ये विदाई 

जहाँ न कोई रस्म है न फिर मिलने की कसम है ..

बहुत दूर तक 

केवल तकती आँखें हैं ....

और लम्बी 

बहुत लम्बी पगडंडी है ...

कुछ अपना 

बहुत अपना 

हाथों से छूट रहा है 

एक युग पलट  रहा है
