almost everyone has some type of insecurity, and for a lot of people, that insecurity lies within how they see themselves physically. this week, we'll talk about both positive and negative body images, and how it can affect our lives.
you may not think you're a spiritual person, but spirituality is a complex topic. this week, we'll get into all things spiritual, and take some time to do some introspection. but first, a new 'question of the day' segment. our first question: what age did you think that you were an adult, and at what age do you think you actually became an adult?
death is simply just a part of life, but that doesn't make it any less terrifying. this week, we'll talk about why we might be fearful of death, and how we can overcome it.
regardless of our situations and our circumstances, we all get lonely sometimes. this week, i talk about my journey through loneliness and how it's affected me, as well as some potential contributing factors and what i choose to do about it.
no matter how good of a person you may be, nobody is a good person 100% of the time, even to the people we care about the most. nobody likes to admit when they're wrong, but its a necessary evil if we want to learn from our decisions and change as a result. this week, i talk about the times that i was not a good friend, but also what i learned from them and how i choose to move on.
stress is a normal part of life, but when it gets to a certain level, it becomes not-so-normal anymore. let's talk about the things that stress us out, and what we choose to do about it... if anything. but first, i want to talk about how i am currently in my candles era.
growing up and living in society as an lgbtq+ / queer person almost never comes without its challenges and hardships, and i am no exception to that. this week, i want to talk about being an lgbtq+ / queer person throughout my life, what it means to me personally, and just a couple of changes that i would like to see both outside and inside the community.
being a highly social person isn't in everyone's nature, but for some us, being sociable is often times our worst nightmare. this week, we'll get into the nuances of what social anxiety is (and isn't), as well as some other concepts regarding the topic of social anxiety, such as the idea of having a "social battery." but first, an obligatory, but short, new year discussion, and perhaps a "resolution" if you will. happy new year... maybe.
we all do things that we later regret or are remorseful of, and living with our guilt can sometimes take its toll, but moving on from it and learning from it is the most important part. i want to talk about coexisting with our past regrets, and also why i avoid calling my poor choices "mistakes." before we get into it, we need to have a discussion about a form of media that has become far too ingrained in our society: true crime.
