What’s up locos?!?! It’s 2024 and you know what time it is. It’s time for another episode of Holding it Down. You know we’re going to bring some heat in 2024. Just like you, we made some New Year’s Resolutions. One of them being: more podcasts for you to listen to and watch. Like always, we’re blessed to have you here rolling with us and truly appreciate you all for sticking around. I know we haven’t released a lot of shows in 2023 but that will change.

Today’s podcast we have the inspiring Fabian Alomar. We know him first and foremost as a pro skater from back in the day. But now he’s making the rounds in Hollywood, making acting appearances in shows like This Fool and Mayans MC. Recently he was also a part of the Flamin Hot Movie in 2023. We also know he’s had a rough past, serving time in prison for years in the 2000’s and as recently as 2012. But since, he’s been working on himself while also giving his time to the Anti Recidivism Coalition (ARC), an organization that aims to prevent recidivism and keep high risk youth out of prison. Fabian talks about this and then some. So sit back and enjoy this great conversation with him.

Certainly can’t forget who keeps the Wheels of Steel rolling: Thanks to Cerveza Cito for the sponsorship. And also to Suavecito Pomade for opening their doors so we can record these podcasts for you. Make sure you visit them in person in Santa Ana, CA or visit their websites below.

Thank you for listening and watching. We got some more shows planned and are booking guests as you read this. See you soon!

Make sure you like, follow, subscribe to the podcast.

Hey what’s up everybody. We’re back real quick with another episode of the Holding it Down Podcast! You know we’re bringing some good conversation today. We have the one and only heavy hitters of funk, from the Capital De Funk Orange County: Funk Freaks. And we’re bringing them to you from Southern Califnrnia’s premiere craft brewery: Cerveza Cito. We talk everything about what they’re up to including vinyl, beat making, traveling to crazy places to play Funk. All that good stuff that happens on the road and what they’re going to be up to in the near future. DJ Luer and DJ Loser are with us to discuss all of this. Just one part of the strong international Funk Freaks collective.

Thanks to Cerveza Cito for opening their doors and for making some firme beers. We had a blast recording on the 3rd floor of the brewery. And you know you need to come down and have a taste. Also hit them up if you need to throw a party, holiday party, birthdays, anniversaries, work meetings… they got a big place and can handle it. Check the links below for more info.

And special thanks for the folks who keep the wheels spinning: Suavecito Pomade. Go online and get your holiday shopping complete. What’s cracking? We’re back after a big Fall break. And you know that we’re going to bring some good heat and conversation on the first episode back from our long break. We have none other than O-Creep AKA Stompanato. We talk about inspiration for comedy, where the name 3 plates comes from, and why foo’s went to TJ a lot back in the late 90’s/early 2000’s. You don’t want to miss this one. So make sure you sit back, kick it, chill out, and enjoy this episode.

Next, we would like to thank you all for sticking around even though we’ve been MIA for a few months. We’re back and ready to hit you with some good podcasts in the coming few months. We’re going to end 2023 strong and start 2024 even stronger.

Thanks to Suavecito Pomade, Cerveza Cito, and everyone that supports the podcast. Stick around for some really cool guests and surprises. Holding it Down!
