At the Last Supper, Jesus fulfills the Passover and establishes a new covenant, not written on stone but on hearts. His blood secures what we never could.
Even in the shadow of betrayal and denial, Jesus remains faithful. In Gethsemane, he shows us how to trust the Father in our darkest moments. We can rest, knowing God keeps the covenant for us.
Today's Prayer Prompt:
Pray that God would remind you of his love for you. Pray that his love would be something you feel. Pray that God would help you to trust his love, even when it doesn't feel like he loves you. Ask God to restore to you the joy of your salvation.
Today's Scripture Reading: Jeremiah 31:31-34; Matthew 26:17-75
