From when the best time is to start and seed to how to maintain the lawn once you have seeded we go through each step. We also go over what to do next year when you are not seeding and how to properly maintain that full green look.

Increasing Property Value from Home. In this weeks episode we go over what you can do in the home to increase value. With people being asked to stay home for the upcoming days or weeks now is a great time to touch up some things around the home. In doing so you could also increase the value of your home. From landscaping to painting and all the other DIY small jobs around the home it can keep you busy and may help increase the value of the home. We go over a few steps to help increase value for you.

Planting Trees and Shrubs. This weeks episode we go over planting new trees and shrubs on your property. With a very early spring this year here in New England planting now will give the plant enough time to firmly root itself before the warm summer arrives. We talk about what to look for in a plant, what not to do when transplanting from pot to ground, and how to prepare the ground for transplant. Even after planting how to make sure that the plant has a good chance to set itself in the ground and be ready for the summer.

What To and Not To Do at an Open House. This weeks episode we talk about an open house. What to do and not to do when you are planning on visiting an open house. From etiquette to what you should be looking for, we go over what you will see and who will be there. We also quickly go over who is the agent present at an open house and why it might be best if you have your own buyers agent lined up before you head in.

What is a Suitable Housing Clause. In this weeks episode we go over what a Suitable Housing Clause is for a seller, and what a Home Sale Contingency is for a buyer. What each means is if the seller has a Suitable Housing Clause they need to find another home to move into before they can close on the home they are selling. For a buyer this is a Home Sale Contingency where the buyer is telling the seller they will buy the home when they sell their current home. We go over both sides of this equation and why it is really used.

Why Not All Pre-Approvals Are Created Equally. In this episode we go over the difference of a pre-approval and a pre-qualification. We also discuss why some pre-approvals might be different. If you use a local mortgage lender or a national chain your pre-approval letter can differ from another. How Millennials are Changing the Housing Market. This week we dig more into how millennials are changing the housing market. With millennials now buying houses more in the market, their wants for a home have changed from the typical needs. Millennials are looking for that home that is not too big and already has that HGTV feel. They are looking for that home that doesn't need much work and is move in status. We looked deeper into this and how it is effecting the market in this weeks podcast.

With low inventory and a high number of buyers sellers are selling their home on their terms. Buyers are also paying more for a home and offering unheard of terms to get into a home. Before you jump on in and list your home you will want to talk to a real estate agent. When looking for a real estate agent to list your home make sure you are getting what is offered. 2020 Vision. This weeks episode marks our 1 year anniversary on this podcast. For the last 52 weeks we have produced an episode a week and we have had a blast doing it.
