Homer's gambling habits seemingly have no limits as he almost alienates Lisa from his life after she makes a bunch of winning picks for him on football Sundays. 

Homer buys Bart what he thinks is the perfect birthday present and Bart thinks it's lame until he discovers how to prank people with it until it backfires on him. 

Marge may be in a family way and Homer tells the kids the story of Bart's conception and birth.

Mr. Burns is restless because he feels tied down to the powerplant and a German consortium swoops in to buy the plant and soon realize they bit off more than they can chew. 

Homer shows Moe his secret signature drink and he then steals it from Homer and Homer is distraught as he feels betrayed and can not find a new watering hole. 

Bart decides to enter the local soap box derby race and build his own car, in his attempts to become a better father he attempts to help Bart with his car and hilarity ensues.

Homer disappoints Lisa for seemingly the last time and she stops loving him. Hijinks ensue as Homer does whatever he has to in order to win her love back.

Krusty the Klown becomes depressed as he shares memories of his estranged father and Bart and Lisa step in to help him in his time of need.

Homer saves Springfield from disaster with sheer dumb luck. 

Bart gets a part time job working for the mob and then gets named as head of the family when they are arrested for the murder of Principal Skinner.
