As homeschoolers often we don’t think about homeschooling with vision and purpose.

In this episode we discuss:

  1. What is the difference between reactive homeschooling vs. proactive vision
  2. How to create a vision and make it plain – Habakkuk 2:2
  3. Envisioning a bright and successful future – we are called to be obedient – and succeed.
  4. Proactive – visions different for everyone.
  5. Consider your child’s talents. Shore up their weakness.
  6. Create a bridge between present and future – could be and possibilities
  7. Look at your child’s spiritual development, physical emotional development.
  8. Digital dark ages, they were more interactive and engage in humane and kind.
  9. How to communicate well with people.
  10. A unique time in life – our kids grow up in a digital age.
  11. Lisa shared how to develop a vision vs mission.  A vision is the big picture dream, about what you want at the end of, for example, homeschooling, life, etc. Use adjectives, verbs, and nouns to create your vision.

The mission consists of the steps that you take to get to your vision. When developing – nouns and adverbs

Goals are small incremental steps to get to your … small, manageable and realistic and timely

Smart goals -Set goals and create a mission for our year – saves us time and money. We can change the specifics we need to get done and a sense of what we need to accomplish.

Blended learning and online learning is the secret weapon of homeschool. True North Academy does this for you!
