Tevin Brown is an assistant coach for the Texas Legends in the NBA G League. He has also served as an assistant for Coach Mike Taylor and the Winnipeg Sea Bears of the Canadian Elite Basketball League for the past two seasons.

Prior to his professional coaching opportunities Tevin worked as a pro skills trainer with Tyler Relph Basketball in Dallas, Texas.  He also served as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach and Director of Player Development at the University of Texas at Tyler from 2020-2021.  Tevin got his start in coaching at All Saints Episcopal High School in Tyler, Texas as a High School Girls Assistant and 7th Grade Girls Head Coach.

Jordon Klein is in his first season as a Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith. Klein spent the previously served as a Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach at Cornell College in Iowa under Dave Schlabaugh.

Klein began his coaching career at the high school level while still working as a CFO in the business world. Jordon has also worked as a camp clinician at Snow Valley Basketball School and USA Basketball Gold Camps.

Heidi Messer is in her third season as the Women’s Basketball Head Coach at NAIA Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

From 2017 until joining the Oklahoma Wesleyan staff, Messer was an assistant coach and the women’s basketball strength and conditioning coach at Northeastern State in Oklahoma. She spent two seasons at the University of Montevallo from 2015 – 2017 and was an assistant coach and the Senior Woman Administrator at Manchester University from 2012 -2014. Heidi also served as a graduate assistant coach at Georgetown College (Ky.) for two seasons.

Messer played four years of college basketball. She attended Sinclair Community College for two years before attending Grace College, where she played two years and served as team captain during her senior season. She recorded the eighth-most assists in program history while at Grace.

Katie Pate is the Senior Associate AD and Director of Development at George Mason University. Throughout her career within intercollegiate athletics, Pate has excelled in many leadership positions as a head basketball coach, a broadcaster, an external relations leader, and a fundraiser. She previously worked in athletic administration for both Appalachian State and Longwood University.

In addition to her administrative success, Pate had several coaching stops, including head coaching positions with Belmont Abbey, Lenoir-Rhyne, and her alma mater, Coker College, plus stints as an assistant at Marshall, Georgia State, Coker, Wingate, and USC Upstate.

As a student-athlete, Pate was a first-team All-Carolinas-Virginia Conference pick and a three-year team captain at Coker.

On this episode Katie shares her journey through the world of basketball, from her early days as a player to her current role in athletic administration.
