Chris Meadows is the co-author of I AM D-1: How to Conquer the World of Travel Basketball, His mission is to empower the world of rising basketball players and their families by sharing the keys of the D-1 MINDSET.

Chris is the Founder of Momentum Skills Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina and as a player development consultant/ trainer Chris has worked with programs from the ACC, BIG EAST, SEC, ATLANTIC 10, MAC, MAAC, PAC-12, and Mountain West Conferences.

Meadows was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona where Chris was named to the Street and Smith Honorable Mention- High School All-American team. He was also named the best ball handler while attending the Blue Chip All-American basketball camp. As a student athlete, he started his college journey in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona at South Mountain Community College. He later accepted a basketball scholarship to attend Saint Bonaventure University, where he played point guard. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he began a career in education and coaching high school basketball in the mid 1990’s in New York

Excell Hardy is the Co-Founder of TEAM UP. Matt Doherty, the author of the new book, Rebound: From Pain to Passion, played and coached basketball at the University of North Carolina. He started on the 1982 National Championship team coached by Dean Smith while playing alongside NBA stars Michael Jordan and James Worthy. He is the former head coach at the University of Notre Dame and University of North Carolina. He was named 2001 National Coach of the Year.

And then in 2003….he was forced to resign!

Special Jennings is in her first season as the Girl’s Basketball Head Coach at Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida.

Jennings' was previously the Associate Head Coach at The University of Illinois at Chicago, spending two years there from 2018-19 to 2019-2020.

She spent the 2017-18 season as an Assistant Coach at Flagler College in Saint Augustine, Fla. Before arriving at Flagler, Jennings honed her craft as an Assistant Coach at Augusta University for three seasons.

Prior to her time at Augusta, Jennings got her start as an administrative assistant for the women's basketball program at Wright State for the 2013-14 season.

Special stood out as a player, starting 115 consecutive games at Xavier University. She is currently tied for fourth in all-time assists for the Musketeers with 515. Jennings led the Musketeers to an NCAA "Elite 8" appearance in 2010, four Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament titles, and three other NCAA Tournament appearances.

Jennings then went on to spend 2011-13 as a professional player in Finland.
