Can the Celtics win the east?
Theus likes his chances with Durant and Kyrie but isn’t ready to make them the favourite with all the question marks around them. There’s a reason why Brooklyn is in the play-in tournament. Do we keep the standard the same for every single superstar in the NBA regardless of age and narrative?
We don’t want to hear no “IFS” and “ASTERISKS” for any teams that get bounced in the first round, that’s why the games are played! Ahmad still thinks Jayson Tatum belongs in the purple and gold, while Theus has no idea what he’ll do if they lose in the first round this year. Are we even sure they will make the playoffs? All we ask for is consistency when you judge and rate players.

Finally, we touch on what it's like playing with Bradley Beal and who’s the toughest matchup he’s faced in the league.

Playoffs are nearing and its getting “spooky” for some teams, especially some of these Western Conference Play-in teams who may be watching from the crib. Shoutout to Jamal Crawford who retired today, arguably the greatest Sixth-man of all-time with his contributions to the game, will we see him in the Hall of Fame? Also lets show love to all the Sixth-man who have made the Sixth-man what it is today; Lou Williams, Manu Ginóbili, Jason Terry, Kevin McHale, Dell Curry, and J.R. Smith.
LeBron James just passed Karl Malone for 2nd all-time on NBA career scoring list, will this give him a case as the greatest scorer of all-time? People forget that putting the ball in the hoop is scoring, we love to see the handle and highlights but scoring is scoring and LeBron does it! If LeBron isn’t the greatest scorer of all-time where does he sit…is he top-5? Kobe, MJ, and KD are elite scorers how does LeBron stack up?
Will Dame be in Portland forever?

Welcome back to the greatest basketball podcast in the world! We are redrafting the 2016 NBA Draft, starting with Brandon Ingram at #1 all the way through to number 24 in honour of Kobe “Bean” Bryant. The foresight of redrafting is a beautiful thing because damn there were some questionable picks in this draft. Looking at notable undrafted players from this class there were multiple players who have got busy over the course of their careers that belong in this redraft!

Happy Birthday to The greatest shooter of all-time! What if the Warriors didn’t draft him, how would his career have played out? It was meant to be in Golden State and he’s definitely getting a statue, it just feels right!
Josh Hart, Gary Trent Jr., Jordan Clarkson…the differences between superstar role players and role players. How they can impact the game on any given night. Can you win a Championship without a superstar role player?
The Playoffs are in reach and it’s serious in the East. We’re hype for the first round. Can we write off the Lakers even with LeBron?

What is Dame really doing in Portland? The team is tanking and they’re tanking good. The writing is on the wall for Dame, in his 30s he’s not getting any younger. Dame is prioritizing his situation over a Championship. It really begs the question, what matters more; The Bag or Championships?
The 76ers have entered win now with James Harden and Joel Embiid. Is there a world where we see Bradley Beal in a 76ers jersey? Imagine a big-3 with Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Bradley Beal…sounds good, looks good but as we saw with Brooklyn it doesn’t always work out.
The NBA Playoffs are going to be epic, especially in the Eastern Conference. Any of these top-5 seeds may be bounced in the first round. The Playoffs are where Superstars are made and defined. Who will rise and who will fold?

What is the definition of an NBA Superstar? How many players make the Superstar list without diluting the power of the name? Tatum is fresh off the fifty burger. At what point do we separate him from the “young guys” and call him a Superstar regardless of age!
The Brooklyn Nets…it’s starting to get scary, will they make the playoffs? At this point, they’re on the fringe of making the play-in tournament. The same goes for the Los Angeles Lakers. If you’re the #1 seed and you have to go up against a healthy Nets or Lakers squad in the first round, that’s crazy.
Looking at the Eastern Conference, 5-games separate the #1 seed from the #6 seed. We are gearing up for a historic playoff run!

Who do you have for the best player in the world right now? The conversation must be had. Theus and Ahmad rank their best young players, Ja, Tatum, Luka. At the moment Ahmad thinks Stephen Curry isn’t the best point guard during the regular season, but that changes once we get to the playoffs. When the playoff lights shine the greats really come to hoop. The most complete teams in the league from a team aspect are the Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat. With so much parity this year, it is going to get nasty if the Sixers, Bucks, Nets, Warriors, lose in the first round. Shoutout to Trae, LaMelo and Ja for being the future of the league when it comes to point guards. They had a lot of doubts about size, shooting and etc but have proved a lot of doubters wrong. Theus and Ahmad also share their X factors for playoff teams to make a big run.

Happy Birthday to Luka Doncic! Theus and Ahmad discuss who is the best player in the world today, hint LeBron is still in the discussion. The Lakers are in a play-in team and the clock is ticking, but Theus still has faith in LeBron James for a playoff run. Is playing around Brandon Ingram rather than Zion Williamson the answer for the Pelicans? The guys discuss how they feel about the Zion situation in New Orleans. Has he done enough in his young career to dictate where he plays as other stars have done in the past? We are hoping we haven't seen his best and he can get healthy to get ACTIVE. Don't question James Harden's love for the game, that man loves to hoop and looks good doing it when he's happy. In a vacuum it has been a great fit so far, but what happens with Tobias Harris? Who is on your Mount Rushmore of bigs?
