Do you take vitamins? It may even be a part of your daily routine and few of us would argue on their benefits. What does this have to do with gratitude? In today’s episode I share with you why practicing daily gratitude is like a vitamin that can not only improve your day but also set you up for a longer and happier life.
We talk a lot on this show about the benefits of practicing gratitude daily. Research shows that those who do, are happier, healthier, have better relationships, and even get more done in a day. So why not make it a part of our routine? It’s good for us, it costs nothing, and we already have access to it!
I am passionate about sharing this with you because since I have been practicing gratitude, my mindset has completely shifted. I used to see mostly negative, but now I can shift negative moments into positive ones. I've trained my brain to be more positive through gratitude and it has completely changed my life.
I hope this encourages you today to take your gratitude vitamin and begin the journey of shifting your mindset and leading a more fulfilling and happier life.
We would love to support you! Find us in our private Facebook community Hope to Recharge, because as always together is better.

Today’s episode is unlike any we have done up to this point. You will experience a live energy healing session between me and my energy coach, Brian Weiss.
You may remember Brian from episode 30 where we explored what energy healing is (and what it is not). I encourage you to check out that interview before listening to this one to give context on the session you are about to hear.
I gave Brian permission to tap into my energy and share with us what he was sensing from me and his recommendations on how I could overcome the blocked emotions that he was feeling. I wanted to share this openly with you so you could gain better insight into what a practice like this looks like and to demystify “energy healing”.
In this episode, you will hear more about the blocked emotions of anger, anxiety, and fear of failure that Brian sensed on me. He shares how he was able to tap into those emotions and why our subconscious is trying to free itself from them. We also talk about why trying to “overcome” emotions is a “big mistake” and how we can tell if our emotions are controlling us or if we are controlling them.
This process can be draining, but it is so important to dig deep to our emotions and create a space for them to move through. If you need further encouragement and support through your mental health journey, please connect with us in our private Facebook group, Hope to Recharge, because as always, together is better!

Thursdays are special days. I use it to prepare for Shabbat which I love celebrating and getting to spend time with my family. I also get to connect with you and share with you things that I am learning and contemplating about gratitude.
I was recently talking to someone who was going through a really difficult time with their partner who is struggling with mental health. One of the things that I wish I would have understood when I was going through my own mental health journey was the importance of being grateful for the loved ones in my life who were supporting me.
Living with someone who is going through mental health challenges can be really difficult at times. When you see someone who you care about suffering it can feel helpless. Although our friends and family may not understand what we are going through exactly we can gift them with the “fuel” of gratitude.
Sometimes you don't have the strength to give gratitude and that’s okay. In this episode, we cover not only the importance of showing gratitude towards our support system but also how we can practically.
We would LOVE to hear from you! Who are you grateful for? What are ways that you like to show appreciation? Connect with us in our private Facebook group: Hope to Recharge, because as always, together is better.

What happens when you are going through your own healing process and unintentionally neglect the relationships in your personal life? What implications does your mental health journey have on the well-being of those that you love the most? Or maybe you are the loved one that is trying to support someone who is struggling and you are at a loss for what to do…
This week I had the extreme honor of connecting with the “Relationship Help Doctor” herself Dr.Rhoberta Shaler. She shares with us how we can transform our relationships even in the midst of struggling with mental illness. Dr. Shaler is the author of sixteen books, host of two podcasts, a Youtuber, and a consultant to families and individuals who feel at a loss in their relationships.
Dr. Shaler shares with us about different personality disorders and about the type of person she has named Hijackals® who are emotionally abusive. She gives us the warning signs of “Hijackals®” and action steps on how we can prevent these toxic relationships from harming us. We also dive into what we can realistically expect from these personality times long term.
There is often so much misunderstanding in relationships and the heartache that comes with it can be unbearable. We hope through this episode you find the answers you have been looking for and the support that we all crave. For further support please connect with us in our private Facebook group: Hope to Recharge, because as always, Together is better.

Today I am coming back to you from Jerusalem. We are ending our fabulous trip and heading back to the States in the morning, but I wanted to wrap up this journey with another lesson about gratitude that I have learned over the past couple of weeks.
A few months ago, our family vacation to Florida was cut short due to a hurricane. It was tempting to be frustrated about ending our trip early but we decided to choose gratitude. Another unexpected twist was that we had to drive back to New York instead of fly. We had a car full of children including my two-year old. However, since we were seeing things through the lens of gratitude we noticed something…
We had a wonderful trip and our children did very well on the long journey. Noticing this gave us the idea to come to Israel as a family and trust that the long travel would not be a strain. We were right! This was one of the best trips back home we have ever had...and it may not have happened without us deliberately shifting our frustration back several months ago in Florida to gratitude.
I share this story with you today to remind you that we have the power to CHOOSE gratitude. It’s natural to be frustrated but remember that gratitude can not only shift our mindset it also has the power to influence our circumstances. Gratitude is dynamic.
We WANT to hear from you! How can we support you? What has gratitude done in your life? Find us in our private Facebook group Hope to Recharge. Because as always...together is better!

Eli Brown was on his way to a promising career as a professional tennis player. Growing up in Canada, he fell in love with the sport and dedicated himself to strenuous practice and dedication to the game. However, at the age of fourteen, he began to experience sexual abuse which would result in a turn of events that changed his life.
This week, I had the honor of sitting down with Eli who is the founder of Shine the Light On, a clothing brand dedicated to spreading awareness and providing resources to those who struggle with mental illness. Eli is now using his story of overcoming childhood trauma and heavy addiction in his early adulthood years to “shine a light” on the suffering of others and provide hope to those who feel lost.
Eli graciously shares his story about the difficulty he faced in not only sharing his story but also being able to identify the mental health struggles that he faced. As he said, he knew he wasn’t truly “living” and felt as though he was going through his days “blindly.” He shares with us how he was able to seek help and what he would share with someone who was considering giving up.
This is a powerful interview if you or someone you know has struggled specifically with abuse and or addiction. If you need support please reach out to us in our private Facebook community, Hope to Recharge, because as always, together is better.
