Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone are set to receive a significant amount of new content with the launch of Season 1 on November 14. For Black Ops 6, this includes several new multiplayer maps: Hideout and Extraction, which are mid-sized 6v6 maps, and Heirloom, a Face-Off map. Later in the season, additional maps such as Hacienda (a remastered map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4) and Racket (another Face-Off map) will be added, along with a festive variant of Nuketown called Nuketown Holiday[1][3][5].
New game modes are also being introduced, including Ransack, where players loot and stock gold bars, and the return of Prop Hunt mid-season. Ranked Play will be available earlier than ever before in Call of Duty history[1][3][4].
In the Zombies mode, a new Directed Mode will guide players through the story of Liberty Falls and Terminus at the season's launch. A brand-new Zombies map, Citadelle des Morts, will be released mid-season, continuing the story from Terminus[1][3][4].
For Warzone, Season 1 brings full integration with Black Ops 6, allowing players to use Black Ops 6 Operators, weapons, gadgets, and more. A new Resurgence map called Area 99 will be introduced, and the game will see various quality-of-life improvements, including a streamlined UI and the incorporation of features like Omnimovement, the Perk system, Field Upgrades, Killstreaks, and Wildcards[1][2][3].
Additionally, seven new weapons will be added throughout the season, with the Krig C Assault Rifle and Saug SMG available at launch through the Battle Pass. Other weapons, such as the Maelstorm Shotgun, AMR Mod 4 Sniper, Slrln 9mm, Cleaver melee weapon, and Power Drill melee weapon, will be introduced later in the season[1][2][4].
Other notable additions include new perks, scorestreaks, and the return of Armory Unlocks, allowing players to unlock guns and attachments from previous battle passes by completing challenges[2][3].
