Ireservedly calling today a turning point. ! truly monumental progress -monumental in this disaster recovery journey. There’s many reasons and bot only bc I was able to wash my hair and made the most amazibg mashed pitatoes and also got clean underwear!!! truly was not overwhelmed by all the survival and fire reluef things bc one full day without problems and mire dysfuncyon was so benificial. lets continue this trajectory!! Well it doesn’t feel right good right now I’m hanging on by a thread but I do have plans and dreams visions of grandeur ( aka self sufficiency & sucess) To get here takes very real resources and a team of people -working unpaid in the now to assist me establish more secure stability and get needed medical treatment. This will lay ground work for future intended plans. I want to encourage everyone to break this disaster elephant down into bite sized chunks.

tried to got to the river. just throw down a tent and b done. finally resting for a few days riight? Fantasizing about it really. NO. not possible. Camping is illegal and bathrooms are shuttered. ended crying. took 8+ hours and 20 + phone calls. moved all my things 7 x this week and in 5 rooms. a team of 3’ppl helped today just to get me to the next life preserver. im barely hanging on. in a stupor. found seals and a new beach. told her id return one day for good. told her id bring mermaids. praying for CRaY FREE days. functionality is my new porn.

There is a wrll crafted, plan established for recovery & stability. It’s not happening today. It’s in the works and advocates and myself are championing my cause with super human determinedness.. Everthing takes time and effort and a team of cooperation and ever increasing resources!!! hotel stay ending as ceiling dripping water from the unit above, no fix offered. not acceptable. Going upriver to camp until my advocates and I get me stably housed in a secure place with recources required to pursue needed medical treatment. Loss of connectivity and housing is the situation- so infrequent updates here till a future time!!! Amazing how disaster and reprocusions of that -combine w lack of resources, and inneficient aid processes to create complete destabilization, resulting in constantly spinning wheels and endless problems —thus a downward spiral despite best efforts to avoid or fix. This does not allow for or create solutions for humans, nor help them to achieve a functional norm. Stable safe sanitary WORKING housing and access to needed medical treatment is baseline requirment for post disaster. Survival and then recovery is paramount. Health / rest: recovery leads directly to wellness. Wellness creates ability to thrive. Thriving is generative -and everyone benifits . Next six months is crucial. Oh and in segment two we reroute about a dozen times because camping is illegal

Oh gosh today while I was fire relief-ing it occurred to me to check back in with a reporter that was supposed to cover the Fema /Resident RV story while I was there! turns out he never did. FEMA was so protective of their image he couldn’t even get in. I told him I’d let him in the back way. lol. Hope he calls me when the FEMA application decision is final! Gonna shout from the rooftops to all my media peeps.

Since the fire I’ve been dreaming of fire... prolonged stress / crisis / disaster / upheval does wierd things to human brains. Frequently I have found myself uncertain as to where I am. Lets hope w regained stability / reduced stress & exhaustion- some of these issues will fade. You are not alone in this wierdness. Continue to request what you need from others to really move forward and thrive. You are the ultimate authority of your life. No one else knows more than you/ not an agency, organization, or family member, partner or friend, no one else but you is an exoert on how to best achieve your own stability and wellness.
