In Hour 1…

(5:17) It’s officially time for March Madness and on Sunday, the 2025 Men’s and Women’s tournament brackets were released. The guys kick off the week by breaking down the men’s bracket, as well as discussing some of their favorite matchups, bubble teams, dark horses and how they pick their brackets every year. 

(22:37) The Golics get into the spirit of the holidays, embracing their traditions of St. Patrick’s Day and favorite memories they’ve had celebrating. 

(27:02) Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins made history overnight by both signing record-breaking extensions. The deals made Chase the highest paid non-QB in NFL History, and Higgins the highest paid WR2 in NFL History. During this segment, the guys discuss how important both of these moves were to Cincinnati’s future success, as well as how they’ll counter that on the defensive side of the ball over the next couple of seasons. 

(39:53) The Seattle Seahawks have spent much of the offseason retooling their offense, starting off with D.K. Metcalf being traded to Pittsburgh, releasing 10-year veteran Tyler Lockett and trading QB Geno Smith to Las Vegas. Since, Seattle has signed QB Sam Darnold to a 3-year, $100M contract, as well as bringing in WR Cooper Kupp on a 3-year, $45M contract. Mike and Mike get into what exactly Seattle is attempting here, and what they may look like during the 2025 regular season. 

(53:13) Mike Golic Jr. previews the kick off to the 2025 MLB Season at this week’s MLB World Tour: Tokyo Series from Tokyo, Japan. The games take place March 18-19 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs, and the Dodgers will be missing some big names with star OF/2B Mookie Betts dealing with illness.
