(5:11) The guys lead off with the Cincinnati Bengals placing the franchise tag on Wide Receiver Tee Higgins for the 2nd season in a row. Higgins scored 10 TD’s and put up nearly 1000 yards during his 2024 campaign, and remains a vital piece of the Bengals offense, but with other big names to be signed, such as WR Ja’Marr Chase, how long can the Bengals and Higgins marriage last?

(7:15) Following this, Mike and Mike discuss the QB Situation with the Minnesota Vikings, who made the decision to not place the franchise tag on QB Sam Darnold, signaling they will be turning to 2nd year QB J.J. McCarthy to take the reins. The guys discussed what Darnold’s market may look like, with teams such as the Giants and Raiders in possible pursuit, as well as the Vikings decision to ride with McCarthy for this upcoming season. 

(21:25) The Athletic’s Dane Brugler stopped by to recap his week at the NFL Combine, and discuss his biggest takeaways from this year’s event. Dane discusses some of his risers and fallers from this year’s draft class, as well as how he believes the top four picks will play out.

(36:43) Another year, another starting QB for the Cleveland Browns. It appears as though the Deshaun Watson era has come to a close in Cleveland, and the Browns will have a decision to make near the top of the draft board. The guys discuss which QB prospects the Browns may have their eyes on, as well as some potential free agents that could try and turn around the Dawg Pound.
