In the Market with Janet Parshall

Hour 2: Avoiding The World’s Sinking Sand

Listen Later

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we kicked off our conversations with a look at some religious liberty cases that have gone before the United States Supreme Court and why their outcomes are so important to all of us. Then we helped you extend your prayer lists with more amazing stories from our favorite voice for the believers in the persecuted church of how God is still at work through their sacrifices and obedience no matter how high the cost they are asked to pay for His namesake. In 1977 a little book made a massive impact and became a powerful tool for God to reach into the lives of countless searchers to reveal His great love for them. We heard from the son of the man who wrote that book who explained the truth seeking journey that led his father to write the book, why it has been revised and released again for today’s generation of searchers and why the truths it reveals about who Jesus is and what His sacrifice means is as potent and transformative today as they were in 1977. Despite what today’s naysayers want us to believe the truth of our nation is that it was founded and moved forward by men and women who believed and trusted God’s Word. Our guest, an accomplished write shared with us the stories of the 100 bible verses that directly impacted our nation, our leaders and the defining moments of American history. Our guest gave us practical, biblical guidance to help men who are struggling with a sexual addiction find real and lasting freedom. The news never stops and neither does our need to understand it rightly. So we invite you once again to join our favorite husband and wife team as they teach us what it means to be watchmen on the wall for the world, our nation and our families.
