After a tough series loss for the Mets against the Phillies, we have a little beat of therapy talk and let out the feelings but then look forward to an important series against the Nationals and the final homestand of the year. The Mets are still in a prime position to play October baseball and have the rotation to back it up with great starts by Jose Quintana and David Peterson. It also looks like Francisco Alvarez is figuring it out and ready to tear the covers off some baseballs.
