To lead off the second hour, Matt Cahill, founder of Green Star Families, an organization dedicated to recognizing families affected by veteran suicide, joins the Dom Giordano Program. Cahill first explains why he chose a green star as the signifying emblem for those lost to suicide, telling that that color for mental health awareness is green. Cahill explains the underlying reasons for Veteran suicide, and tells whether the withdrawal from Afghanistan has had any effect on the mental health of Veterans. Then, Cahill reveals that the organization has made some waves, with Rep. Jeff Van Drew introducing the bill to Congress.
