Full Hour | In today’s third hour, Dom leads off by welcoming in Former U.S. Congressman Keith Rothfus to the Dom Giordano Program to hear of his relationship with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who plans to announce a Presidential run this evening. Rothfus, who entered into Congress as a freshman alongside DeSantis, spent many years working with the politician and tells Giordano why he believes DeSantis would make for a great President. Then, Dom and Rothfus hop into a debate over DeSantis’s stance on some of the most important topics to voters, with both offering countering opinions on DeSantis’s 6-week heartbeat bill. Rothfus explains that the Florida legislator and voters wanted this, and suggests that DeSantis may have a different stance in a general election when determining what’s best for an entire country instead of just his state.

Then, Dom welcomes Liz Preate-Havey, Secretary of the Pennsylvania GOP, back onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear her thoughts ahead of Governor Ron DeSantis’s announcement on Twitter today, alongside Elon Musk, that he’ll officially be throwing his hat into the ring. First, Preate-Havey offers her overall thoughts on DeSantis, who’s she spent a lot of time with, noting that the candidate would make for a great President, telling that she’s interested to see how things shake out between him and front-runner Donald Trump. Then, Dom and Preate-Havey hop into political strategy, with both telling how they believe DeSantis needs to approach the topic of abortion, a topic which largely contributed to losses seen in recent elections.
