Casey Dellacqua is one of Australia’s greatest doubles tennis players.
During her career, the West Australian played eight Grand Slam finals, including in 2011 when she won the French Open mixed doubles title alongside American Scott Lipsky. She reached a career high doubles ranking of number three in the world, and made history alongside fellow Aussie Ash Barty, when they became the first Australian duo to reach the women's doubles final of the Australian Open since 1977.
This week, Chloe sits down with eight-time Grand Slam finalist turned legendary tennis commentator Casey Dellacqua. Casey shares what she learnt from losing seven Grand Slam finals, and how she’s working as the Women and Girls Lead at Tennis New South Wales to increase participation and equity within the sport. We hope you enjoy this episode.
