Delightful humors read that will keep you smiling

This was such a delightful refreshing listen from the author to the narrator it was a pleasure to listen to. It is kind of like a modern day mail order bride with a twist. The match maker has her hands in a little of this along with her own practice but likes to find the perfect match for her clients. She comes and interviews you, finds out your likes and dislikes than goes off to find your mate. Once she finds the perfect person for you, you do not get to meet them, know there name or anything about them until you say I do at the altar. Trey gets into a little trouble when he tries to see his bride before the I dos with is really funny.

Ms. Williams does a wonderful job with the narration from her many different voices to her tones and emotions of each character. I did not hear any background noises or changes in the volume just a clear clean audio with I totally enjoyed. Her male voices were as pleasant as her female ones. You have no trouble knowing who is talking or what they are feeling. What really adds to this audio is when a character laughs, yawns etc so does the narrator. This makes the whole audio so much more believable and enjoyable. Ms. Williams gives so much to this audio as she brings the characters alive before your eyes. You have no trouble picturing the scenes in your mind as she takes you a way to a very enjoyable listen. She has a very pleasant voice that you have to trouble getting into and enjoying. I found myself looking for things to do so I could listen longer. I really hated for this audio to come to the end. I have not listened to anything by this narrator and I am really looking forward to listening to more of her work.

Cindy is lonely and on a dry spell, there just isnt anyone to date in this little town. Her friend decides she needs to use a matchmaker. That is fine but her friend will be using one as well. Cindy is excited but a little scared of not meeting her mate until the wedding. With one look she is totally hook on this hot hunk of a man. With one kiss she is ready to jump his bones and take her marriage very seriously. The attraction is fast the pull is great. With the bread and breakfast she cannot take time off from work which leads to a few problems between them.

Charming story but disappointing narrative-DNF!!!

Chico is a charming main character, and the story itself is light, amusing, and entertaining. I have enjoyed many of this author's narrated stories already, so I succumbed to the temptation of immediate purchase without listening to the sample.

This narrator sounds like he is doing voiceover for a rather boring nature show, his voice holds none of the nuances of expression one would expect in a story about humans instead of gerbils. I listened for about 20% of the narration, after all sometimes narrators do improve as they warm to the story. But to no avail, I simply could not finish, this lovely story was rendered boring, and I intend to return to Audible for a refund.

I expect more than someone simply reading a story aloud when I purchase an audible story. I expect a performance, why else would I spend money?

I cannot recommend this audiblized story to anyone. By all means read the ebook, Ms Cooper is a very imaginative storyteller.

I liked it

A fun and sweet story, free of angst and with some lovely and extremely anxious main character.

Chico is trying to get over a breakup. After moving above his cousins garage, a sudden turn of events put him in front of Rafaels dancing class. He start to feel something for the dance instructor, but is too afraid to take any chances. Rafael is also interested in Chico, but is Chico ready to overcome the fear and take the risk of a new relationship?

This was a nice and sweet story, it was easy to understand Chicos insecurities but sometimes it became too much and he start being a little frustrating. Most of the times he was a very likable characters, but there was those moments when I just couldnt stand him. He felt a little immature. The anxiety issues he had felt very realistic at times. Rafael was ok, but I didnt feel like I got to know much of him, he felt sort of the opposite of Chico, very self-confident and unafraid to ask for what he want.

Their relationship was very nice. Its the kind of relationship development I like, taking things a little slow, giving enough time to make it believable. They had some moments together that were great, I wish it would be more, but I was happy with it.

I think I would enjoyed the story a little more, but I felt like the narration take some of the sweetness from it. While the moments when it was only narrating it was good and with a nice pace. When the dialogues begin, I was totally lost.

Not worth the 99cent

Choppy and immature writing style. It was writing on an eight grade level. It was clean but there was no build up to a relationship it was "your rude and obnoxious and and Btw I love you" ..really and all her books have the same tired themes If you want to read a clean romance written very well try "Not my type" by JAEL it's worth the money and your time.

Good book collection. If your looking for a nice clean read then this is great for you.

Narrator or Author?

What disappointed you about Carrying the Billionaire's Baby?

The reading of the book is very awkward and I can't totally tell if it's the narrator or also the author's writing since I have never read a book by this author. The story line seems decent without the narrators reading but the reading definitely hurts the book.

Cute short story

I was given this audiobook free for an honest review. If you are looking for something to fill in about an hour of your time, this is a good listen. However, in my opinion, the narrator needs more experience or training on how to read a book out loud. Very disappointed in the disjointed narration. She didn't have much inflection in her voice. However, you could at least tell the difference in the characters.

The story was cute, fast and complete. Some short stories do not make the connection or complete thoughts. This one did a great job of setting up the story and giving the reader some insight into the characters. I'm sure there are people who can relate to the story. I enjoyed this short story for being a short story. Filled my time between long books and was a breath of fresh air.

Just no no no to the narrator but story is good.

This book was given to me in return for my unbiased opinion. Look just get another narrator. This narrator isn't the worst but man she just isn't doing for me with this story. I think the writing is pretty good but really I need these narrators to do better. When the narrator gets it right a sucky story can be great or a great story can come to life and be wonderful. Oh well, all I can say is if you are not as picky as I am with narrators try the book. The story is pretty good.

Great book

I fell in love with Marco and his attitude toward Vanessa and the baby. We as humans tend to judge and believe what tabloids and people say, when that shouldn't be the case. He had he share of women but he was totally genuine with Vanessa when he told her that he wanted his child and to be a full time father. He proved himself with Beth.

I would recommend young adults as readers of this book.

The Message was Good

"Carrying the Billionaire's Baby" was an okay listen. I guess I'm old or naive or both but I didn't know what BWWM meant. What I did like about this story was the message. At first I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. It started out slow but the story improved. They got pregnant and made it work. So there's a decent bit of morality here.

I've listened to other books narrated by Giselle Lumas and enjoyed her work.

Loved it!

Awesome story! I've been a fan of Liz Kelly for a long time now since I discover Good cap and I just could not stop reading. I just had to keep reading the series. There is always romance a lot of laughing and I just love reading about Vance and Pinks but now listening to the stories and how well Charles narrates the them and how he makes different voices for the different characters is awesome! I love it!

Love this series!

I just can't get enough of Henderson!!! I loved Crain And Tansy's story! I wasn't a huge fan of Tansy at first but this book changed my mind! Crain was seriously delicious! I love that even though this was focused on Crain and Tansy, that you get glimpses into the rest of the clan too!! That makes me super happy! I'm off to listen to the next book!!!

Doggone Good!

Would you consider the audio edition of Top Dog to be better than the print version?

Absolutely! I find myself concentrating on every single word and nuance when listening to the Audiobook version of a novel and I find it very entertaining to hear Charles Lawrence's portrayal of Crane and Elisabeth as well as my favorite character, Vance Evans.

What did you like best about this story?

I have to admit to loving the idea of a whirlwind romance and a wedding in Vegas. I would love to wake up married to Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome Crane Caraway. You can be sure I would never be a runaway wife like Tansy.

Which character as performed by Charles Lawrence was your favorite?

Vance is my favorite character because he's totally outrageous and Charles Lawrence's portrayal of Vance's deep, sexy voice is swoon-worthy and utterly delicious. Best line ever was "Tansy would never get down on her hands and knees and clean my balls" as spoken by Mr. Outrageous himself, Vance Evans.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

My heart melted when Vance was comforting Tansy after Crane left Henderson. Because they have always been mortal enemies, I was especially touched by Vance holding and comforting Tansy while she sobs over Crane's desertion.

This entire series is a hoot. Who knew life in small town North Carolina could be so outrageously entertaining? Liz Kelly's storytelling and Charles Lawrence's narration are an unbeatable combination. I absolutely adore romantic comedy!

It demonstrates the domain of the art of writing and the in depth knowledge of the human being no matter his or her age and cultural inheritance. The fascinating interlaces of romantic moments and brutal evidences of terrible historical moments gives the romance a significant acceptance among young as well as old audience. Isabel Allende shows in this book her total integration in the American way of life and more so to the Californian and in particular SF aspect of human existence.

Gut zu lesen!

Gut zu lesen. Amüsant und manchmal auch recht witzig. Zwar gibt es ein paar Dinge, die etwas zu mysteriös sind, aber es ist nicht allzu dick aufgetragen. Ein Buch für einen entspannten Abend. Die Sexscenen müssten allerdings nicht ganz so ausführlich sein. Aber manche Leser wollen ja gerade das!

Absolut gelungener Liebesroman

Eine packende Geschichte, die einem veranlasst das Buch nicht mehr aus der Hand zu legen.

West and Cordelia had a bad break up in the last book, and even thought they still care for each other, West has some explaining to do and an apology to make...West is slowly deteriorating from the prosthetics he is using...and the city is in almost an all out war...Also there are people in the company that do not have West's best interests at heart...

I liked the way this wrapped up..I like that Cordelia and West worked it out and I am sad this is the end for these books!! LOVED THIS SERIES!!!!

Building a Hero #3

This book was good, as the first. Glad for the happy ending.

Few Spoilers.. Maybe...

Dude, I was about to say nooooo not Wes, I liked him even though he was a perk in the beginning II still liked him. And Peter wasn't truly his friend in the beginning because what friends does you like that? Like come on now, you choose to work for someone like that, I was glad that Peter and the other guy got what they deserve, and Wes didn't die I was upset, for like 2.5 seconds lol. Ugh. Heart all racing and stuff. Lol!!

Great read

I usually don't get books that arn't stand alone books, but this one was well worth it. It took all 3 books to tell the story properly. Great story line with well developed characters.

perfect ending

love the way this ends! West is still needing smacked, Cordelia is now working for his ex friend, and Jess starts acting out. things on the street are getting really dangerous and West still has gliches. things come to a head in an unexpected way and nothing is left untouched. there is violence and adult content.

The rise and fall of a super hero

A great conclusion to an amazing series! It seems as if Wes has lost everything in this final book but he gains much more than he could ever imagine. Tasha Black does a great job building the characters and evoke so many emotions from both the reader and the characters themselves. I love that we get to read more about Jess and her quick Witt. I am sad that I have finished this series!
