Publisher's Summary:
Libby Hart and Matt Ogden are perfect for each other - as friends. They've known each other for ages. They act as each other's plus-ones. They even share custody of a dog. And if there's always been a little spark between them, so what? It's never been worth jeopardizing their friendship.
Professional rugby player Matt is fighting for a starter position with the London Legends - and that's not the only thing he's fighting. A crippling fear of flying means he's struggling to get his career off the ground. He has no time for a relationship, even if Libby does make him ache. As an airline pilot, Libby's looking for a stay-at-home husband so she can have a family without sacrificing her high-flying career. Matt's certainly not that man.
But just because they don't have a future together doesn't mean they can't have a right now. When Matt asks Libby for help overcoming his fear, they agree to take a vacation from their platonic relationship - whenever they fly together, they can have sex. It's the perfect way to resolve all that built-up tension. As long as they can avoid getting a little too comfortable....

Excellent Read!
Love.
Okay, I'm not a fan of the man-whore trope, much, but Kat Latham manages to write these hunky athletes as real people who make real mistakes and have (get this!) *real emotions*! And, most of the guys in this rugby player series own up to it. I'm not quite sure how to put it. Latham doesn't write them as jerks for sleeping around. It's not "in your face" exactly.
In this installment of the London Legends series, it focuses on Matt, who has a massive self-confidence problem that tortures him on the game field (sorry, *pitch*) and even worse, it expresses itself in a dangerous fear of flying. Fortunately, his best friend is a pilot; but he's never told her in five years that he's afraid of flying. And she's well aware of his sleeping around. She wants him, but doesn't think he can ever be the man she needs him to be.
This is a wonderfully constructed romance. Strengths, weaknesses, their backgrounds mesh *prefectly*. So perfectly, I wanted a rugby ball to smack Matt on the head. Okay, to get me cheering on an athlete who sleeps around is an accomplishment. I'd have to say that about Liam, Little John, and Spenser (though he's a little different).
I highly recommend this series, even if you're not a sports fan. Latham writes people very, very well, she heightens the loves scenes with so much emotion it's jaw-dropping. This is the way to write romance. (For me, at least)
Best Book in the Series Yet!
I loved this book! This author is great with small details that make the characters seem that more real. I'm a pilot, and as a female in this line of work I can relate to absolutely everything Libby went through. Something that I loved was the description of peace and completeness that both the characters feel when they go flying.
Matt is real and obviously sexy but his imperfections are what made him one of my favorite heroes. I still love Liam and Bailey but Matt is my favorite!
Buy this book! You definitely won't regret it.
A great romance read- and much more!
I really loved this book which is great as a stand alone or part of the series. I think Latham does a really good job fully developing her characters and this is no exception.
