    Great story, Great Narration
I loved Taken. Just another one of Lori Foster books. The narrator is my favorite, and I download everything she does. Great story, amazing characters, and a wonderful romance tied in.
The only let down was that the site states that there are two books in one. And it doesn't. That was such a let down, cause the second story sounds amazing also. I would have given the book 5 stars, if it wasn't for this.
Good story but only ONE book
I enjoyed the narrator and the story of Virginia and Dylan. However, like the previous reviewer, my audiobook download on contained one story.
    Loved the heroine
A definite listen for the Lori Foster FAN.

    I did finish it...
but it was badly writted and the narrator is not all that great...too bad, the story sounded so interesting. Conversations dragged, over explained and repeated...I will not look for anything else by the author.
    Must Love Author/ Paranormal
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
This is a harlequin novel so it already makes the story fairly simple. It is set up as a series, but that does not take away from this story. The scene where the Jaguar protects, breaks your heart.
Have you listened to any of Gabra Zackmans other performances before? How does this one compare?
I purchased this book due to Ms Zackman as the reader. She always gives a good performance and does so in this story.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
this would play very well as a Sci Fi movie
    Any additional comments?
Note: I use the new 1.25x speed to get the author's intent.
    Dark Truth by Lindsay McKenna
I enjoy all of Lindsay McKenna's books. She uses fiction to reinforce spiritual teachings that have been passed on for generations. The redundancies noted in her books are there for a reason --- like, did you get it? Too bad Harlequin did not audio her first book in this series!

    Jack and roses story
Ok this book has twist and turns all to be loved from jacks tattoo to roses fear of comment net it's a awesome book a must read
    Sweet story!
This is a sweet romance with a little mystery thrown in. I really enjoyed the story line, but was a little disappointed with the narrator. This is the first in the series and I will surely listen to the other 2 books.
    Delightfully Sweet, Small-Town Romance!
What did you love best about If I Loved You?
IF I LOVED YOU by Mary J. Williams was a delightfully sweet, small town romance. It's the first book in a series about three friends - Rose, Dani and Drew - in Harper Falls, Washington, finding their happy ever afters. This was Rose's tale with swoon-worthy Jack Winston.
Who was your favorite character and why?
OMG! I can't pick just one! I loved both primary characters. Rose's tale broke my heart and Jack was such a perfect gentleman. He had earned a playboy reputation, but when he saw Rose, he knew she was THE ONE for him. He was strong, patient and so protective of her, but Rose understandably had some pretty secure fencing around her heart. I also really liked Rose's friends and Jack's family. His mother, especially, was just such an awesome character. The scenes with Jack's family were some of my favorites.
What three words best describe Amy Robinsons performance?
    PLEASANT, CLEAR, DISTINCT
This was my first time listening to Amy Robinson. She read the book; she did not perform it as there was no differentiation between her voicing of the characters. I was ok with that as the story was so good and Amy does have a pleasing, clear, distinct voice. However, there were numerous instances where she repeated herself or mispronounced words. At one point, you can hear something dropping in the studio that had nothing to do with the book; I actually listened to that section multiple times as I thought I'd missed something. These issues would not keep me from listening to her again, but I do wonder why she left the mistakes in and didn't take the time to correct them.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The conclusion had me holding my breath with a twist I did not see coming and then morphed into being jaw-dropping wonderful!
    Any additional comments?
This tale was a wild emotional ride! I laughed, sighed and cried while listening to it. IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES, Dani's story, is the next book in this series and is already available as an ebook.

If you're a fan of contemporary erotic romance, then enclosed is your invitation to The Sex Club, elegant, classy, sexy, every woman's fantasy, every man's desire.
Virginia Hansen believes she's a three-time loser in marriage, each time confusing the passion and lust of immediate attraction for lasting love, with disastrous results. For her fourth trip down the aisle, she demands stability and companionship, without passion or lust clouding her judgment. But Virginia will soon discover that trying to harness her deep-seated sexual needs is like trying to tell a raindrop not to fall. Buried inside, Virginia has overpowering desires and the need for a man's seduction to turn her inside out. When she begins craving seduction from her new husband, her carefully constructed, stable world might very well fall apart.
Brett Branoff has finally found the right woman. Everything in his life is about his career, even down to his choice of wife, and Virginia has the same needs and goals as he does. He's willing to bank his sexual desires and forgo the bedroom fireworks to accommodate the perfect, self-assured, even-tempered wife. But when Brett uncovers the hidden wanton beneath Virginia's elegant business suits, everything he thought he wanted pales in comparison to his newfound desires. Brett soon discovers that perfunctory sex once a week isn't enough to satisfy him, not when he knows that Virginia is capable of so much more. Now he plans on sending his wife an invitation to pleasure she simply can't refuse.

    My favorite of the 3!
I love how both Brett and Virginia entered the marriage with the idea of suppressing their natural desires to have a comfortable and easy companionship. I also love how Brett didn't freak out about his wife's hidden sexual side. Although I do believe in real life, a conversation could have cleared up all the misunderstandings, it would have shortened the book quite a lot. It was enjoyable to read about a couple in their 40's who still have fantasies and desires and want to have a passionate sex life. Too many romance authors forget this target audience. As a married woman in my 40's, I like my heroines and heroes a little older now since reading about young 20 something guys makes me feel like a perv sometimes. Glad to see this couple got the hot sex life and a HEA.
    Sex, Sex, and More Sex
There was definitely a story line, but the author makes no apologies about the eroticism or tries to write a romantic, mushy story. There's definitely some love going on, but mostly there's sex. And then some more sex. And just when you think there can't be any more sex, sex happens.
    It's hot, that's for sure.
    Book 2 Amazing !!
Wow, book 2 was great ! Loved the story line and the characters, so happy Virginia got the marriage she deserves. The erotic scenes were beyond amazing. WOW !!!!
    Love it
Lots of SEX !!! I love sex books, but this also have a good story with it. I have read all 3 of the Invitation books. It made me want to go to a sex club myself. Made me hot !!!
    Virginia and Brett. OMG
OMG, I loved this book. Jasmine Haynes has become my favorite author. I downloaded this book today from Amazon around 5PM and finished it at three hours later.

    Members Reviews:
Pretty good for the length of the book....
I liked this book, but I have a deep love for anything paranormal + romance. I didn't like the way the book ended however. I mean it just ended... These two finally get together after fighting off zombies then... he bites her to save her life, and wham! It ends... just like that. There has to be a book 2 out there, b/c this story would have been great if just a little more was added to the end.
Narration was ok... nothing to rave about.
    A credit or sale book.
    action love paranormal
good story, great action, well developed hero/heroine & love story. I would listen/read more from this series!
A short but very enjoyable adventure
I bought this because I wanted the second book of the series (love the narrator of that one, Saskia Maarleveld) and I'm SO glad that I did! It's got a hunky alpha werewolf, a kick-ass heroine and Zombies! What more could I ask for?
The two main characters are interesting. Seth is your typical hot alpha, growling and fighting and quite possessive, but he also has a softer side that made me like him a lot. Too often in these type of stories I get the feeling that the author was afraid of giving the male lead a softer side (or any flaws or insecurities), because they don't want him to appear weak. More often than not, that leaves me not liking the guy. I mean, who wants to be with an aggressive, overprotective, overly possessive guy who never lets you in and always has his walls up sky high? Showing weakness doesn't make you weak. Anyways. I liked Seth a lot. Even more, though, I liked Maisie. Gosh, did I like Maisie! She is strong and witty and smart and caring and kicks some serious butt, even though she is "just a human"and a human with an bad leg and both physical and emotional scars to boot!
I'm just sad that this was only a novella. Because of that, there wasn't much plot, andwell, I just would have loved to spend more time with these characters. I would have loved a full novel about themwould still love it!
The narration was awesome, too! I love her voices, female and male ones alike.

... I thought it was going to be the usual good twin, bad twin
When I first started reading the book I thought it was going to be the usual good twin, bad twin, but the author really surprised me. I have male twin cousins and that's how they are, but this story shows two sisters that love each other dearly and their bond can't be broken, not even by them. I commend Seleste for admitting that she somewhat stole Erik from Simone and doing what she had to do to make things wright and get them together. However with that being said, I was surprised that Simone ended up with Erik, I don't have a sister but I'd like to think that if I did no matter what I felt for a man if she was intimate with him, I couldn't. It was definitely a good read and I hope there is a part two so I can see if Simone and Erik do have the happy ever after and make beautiful babies.
    Not your typical switch....
The Switch Up was the second book that I read by Y.M. Sheree. I initially did think this would be the typical story however I was in for a surprise. I love books that are not the typical storyline and able to showcase the imagination of the author. The author was able to capture my attention throughout the book while throwing in a few twists to the story. The only suggestion I have is that Y.M. Sheree continues to expand her word choice. Versatile word choice is one of the things that can set an author apart from others. I look for authors who can say the same thing in multiple ways that influence my reactions. Y.M. Sheree is an author that has potential and is on her way.
This was a good read. It went at a good pace
This was a good read. It went at a good pace. I just wish I could see more of what happens next for each couple.
    True love Story
This was a bit lighter than what I was expecting from this Author. Reading Purple Haze I was expecting it to be a lil more Erotica. But it was a well written love story to make you think about the Switch!!!!
    I liked this book better
Thus is the second book I've read from this author. This book has a greater storyline and character development with just the right amount of erotica. I liked this book better, and I can see this author evoling as she continues to write! Great job!

    Publisher's Summary:
Tristan Weaver, accountant for a successful video game company, is in way over her head. Honestly answering a companywide survey and criticizing the sexist stereotypes used in the company's games was enough to catch her boss' attention. But speculating on his sex life within his earshot has unexpected consequences when her hot but nerdy boss invites her to model for him.
Owner, artist, and lead developer of Brecken Games, Rory Brecken has a strict "no fraternizing with employees" rule. However, when he overhears Tristan's conversation with her friend about his rumored kinks and begins to suspect her curiosity about the submissive side of sex, he's more than a little tempted. When her interest is undeniably confirmed, he suggests a one-time only colleagues-with-benefits hookup.
Though neither wants a relationship, once isn't enough for either one of them. As their encounters become more intense, Rory makes a huge mistake that may cost him the woman he's coming to love.
    Members Reviews:
    An enjoyable office romance
I enjoyed this audiobook more than I expected. The narrator, Tatiana Sokolov, did an impressive job with this office romance. It was light and fluffy with a very surface emphasis on BDSM. The story flowed very well and entertained from beginning to the end.
Rory Brecken, CEO of a videon gaming company named Brecken Games, sent out an office survey in hopes of improving employee relations as well as find out new ways to improve the video games he offers. When he overhears his accountant Tristan Weavers discussing the one dimensional characterization in the video games as well as the rumors about the CEO's sex life, Rory decides to indulge Tristan's curiosity. The rest is a journey of mutual exploration and personal growth as Rory and Tristan have to deal with their perceptions about sex and relationships.
The author did a great job in telling the story in a snapshot of moment style. There wasn't a lot of character building or development as to who they were. Instead, the narrative is a present accounting of the Tristan and Rory in the workplace and who they are right now. I enjoyed their banter, their trysts, and their discovering of their own personal desires in and out of bed.
This author is new to me, but I will be reading this author again because I found the writing style kept me interested and engaged. The narrator did a great job with the various voices and I listened to the entire audiobook within two days. I docked it half a star because of the very little character development. I had wanted a little more information to truly understand why the characters were unfulfilled and hesitant in asking for what they truly wanted. Still, it was a good read.

    Genres: Romance, Contemporary
    Publisher's Summary:
In her latest contemporary romance, Susan Fox welcomes listeners back to Caribou Crossing, the ruggedly sexy Western town that seems made for starting over....
Brooke Kincaid knows second chances don't come cheap. She's spent five years repairing past mistakes and making her life in Caribou Crossing steady and predictable. But now a stranger's Harley has shattered her fence and her peace of mind in one swoop. Brooke is drawn to everything about wounded undercover cop Jake Brannon - his raw masculinity, his tenderness, and the undisguised desire that makes her feel more alive than she's ever been.
By rights, Brooke should curse Jake for complicating her life. Instead, she's offered him a place to heal and a cover story as he searches for a wanted man. Jake knows she's vulnerable, but she's also strong, kind, and hotter than hellfire. It's a combination that could make even a die-hard loner long to put up his boots and put down roots at last, and show her just how good a second chance can get....
    Members Reviews:
I love this Caribo Crossing series
This is the third book in this series that I have read, Wow, I love the way Susan Fox describes the area and also how she brings the same characters back and adds new ones in to keep everything moving along...I just love Brooke and Jake's story so much...Brooke has had so many sad things happen in her life, Susan explores what addiction and mental health problems can do to destroy a family, but also the bright hope that recovery can mean to all involved...Jake is just the best guy, lots of issues but in the end I got my Happily every after...I highly recommend that you start with book/novella #1 Carribou Crossing, followed by Home on the Range, and then Gentle on my mind...well worth the money and my time...thank you Ms. Fox for giving your readers your very best with this series...hope there will be another one to follow.
    Mixed feelings.
First off, major props to Susan for addressing bipolar and alcoholism in such a thoughtful and respectful manner. I think she did a wonderful job of this.
As usual, Susan's Caribou Crossing characters are very sweet and she has written a wonderful community.
With that said, Home on the Range is the only book in the series that I really enjoyed.
Gentle on My Mind needs some big help with editing. So much of the [inner and outer] dialogue sounds so contrived. The characters say or think the word, "damn" 57 times! Other overkill included references to being cousins. Yes, we know that Jake is pretending to be Brooke's cousin. We do not need to be reminded 59 times. I'm not exaggerating. This is the actual number of times it's referenced. And did people actually use cousin as a title ("Hi, Cousin Brooke!") after the 1950s? A lot of the writing seems outdated. I don't know any 35 year old man who would use the word "pal", let alone a tough cop.
Brooke is only 43. Yes, she's a grandmother. But it was difficult to forget that she wasn't in her 60s.
A sweet read, but one that struggles to sound current or plausible.
    Five Stars
    Great series, enjoyed them all.
    Excellent Reading
Loved this series of books. I will read all of Susan Fox's books. Waiting for # 4.
    Great book!
I love the easy to read stories of Susan Fox, and this one is a 10 out of 10 on the ratings.
