In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the significance of TJ Oshie in the lineup. When Oshie was gone for that 11-game scratch, the Capitals won just two games. After he returned up until this most recent injury, Washington went 9-1-3 while also going on a five-game win streak and getting back into playoff position.

Later Dan talks about Aliaksei Protas. He sat out the remainder of the last game. Peter Laviolette said not to read too much into it. When he started the season, he played so well that Capitals couldn't send him down. They need to see that production from him again.

In the last segment Dan Talks about the Caps getting scoring up and down the lineup and how that will their keys to success as the Capitals plan on making another push for the playoffs and making the most of the Alex Ovechkin years
