Episode 109: A competitive race for a seat in the Virginia House of Delegates has been in the spotlight since it was revealed that the Democratic candidate, Susanna Gibson, had streamed sex acts with her husband.

As first reported by The Washington Post, the couple appeared on the website Chaturbate, on which they urged viewers to give the couple “tips” to perform certain crowd-sourced requests.

Gibson, whose full-time job is working as a nurse practitioner, said the exposure of the content is “an illegal invasion of my privacy and designed to humiliate me and my family.”

Hosts Richard Kyte and Scott Rada discuss whether this was a legitimate news story, whether the issue should matter to voters and how whether it showed poor judgment by the candidate.
