After whiffing on several proven quarterbacks, the Carolina Panthers best option to find a franchise quarterback appears to be in the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft. The only issue: this class is considered to be weaker than those of the past few years. Considering Panthers head coach Matt Rhule is in a win or else situation and none of the prospects are viewed as a Top 10 player in the draft, how real is the Panthers interest in acquiring a quarterback at sixth overall?

The Carolina Panthers began their Top 30 visits ahead of the draft on Monday. Local product Sam Howell and Western Kentucky signal-caller Bailey Zappe met with the team on Monday with Malik Willis, Kenny Pickett, Matt Corral, and Desmond Ridder all set to meet with the Panthers in the next two days.
