He's ruthless, and he does his job well, but he is very strict, rude and professional...in court. In his office and private life, he's a total bad boy playboy.
Dylan: I take what I want. Whether that be in court or in my bedroom. My father has taken a liking to something. Or rather, someone: Yvette. There is no way I am going to stand for that.
I've never lost a case before. But this was the first time I did. I had to get to the bottom of it. If not for my client, then for my own sanity. But will I be able to? What am I going to do about Yvette? She's too good at her job to try to risk pursuing, but God do I want her so bad!
Yvette: I was just doing my job. The job I wanted so badly. He's so strict at work. And I want him. But he's my boss! I'm at the verge of quitting. What am I going to do? I need to solve and win this case in court otherwise I'm just going to go backwards.
Object Me is a bad boy lawyer romance. There is no cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed happy ending!
Members Reviews:
no objection
Would you consider the audio edition of Object Me to be better than the print version?
I believe that the print version of this book would be more enjoyable as the story is written from the Point of View of Dylan and Yvette. The narrator did a good job, but it was sometimes hard to distinguish which voice was having the POV.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked Yvette better than Dylan. Dylan did not appeal to me as he came across as a selfish prick
Which scene was your favorite?
I liked it when Dylan fired his father
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No extreme reactions. Some parts of the story were humorous
Any additional comments?
I have read and listened to several books by Roxy Sinclaire. The narrator on this particular book did a good job, but I would have personally enjoyed it more if there would have been a male narrator doing the male POV. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.
Not up To Author's Standards
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No, it was not what I expected from R Sinclaire. I have listened to many of her books and this one seemed as if she was rushing to meet a deadline and just churned something out.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I would have developed each character more, added more details to the story, and created more drama without being overbearing.
Would you be willing to try another one of Elizabeth Redmonds performances?
Perhaps, in the future when she has more books under her belt so that you can tell which character is speaking.
What would have made this romance irresistible?
I have no clue.
Any additional comments?
I got this book via audiobook boom. I enjoy the author's books but this one was not what she turns out.
Billionaire appeal
Good listen. I think Yvette could have be a little tougher but otherwise a good listen.
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
Object Me Please!
If you could sum up Object Me in three words, what would they be?
Hot Short Story.
