Amazing

Michel Prince has done it again writing another gripping story. I loved this audio book. Every word read was enticing and scintillating. This is a story about love and second chances. Always remember there are two sides to a story. Eyes and ears are deceiving but your heart and mind rage war against what's real and true. You will fall in love with some amazing characters. Captivating till the very end. Five stars guaranteed.

More Story for Grace & Drew

This novella revisits Grace and Andrew from book one. Though short, it's still full of romance. Another tender book, the characters struggle with past loss, forgiveness and moving forward. It is filled with hope, but based in reality so the characters feel authentic. Add in the well done naration and this is a beautiful short story about characters I've already fell in love with. A must read for series fans.

Wow!!!

This story by Kim Loraine was so good and realistic. I loved how the author was able to make the insecurities and emotions feel real. The narrator was new on this book and did an excellent job. This story is part of a series and yet a standalone. I enjoy having characters from previous books be mentioned in this one, yet not center stage. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. This particular book is a novella, which is much shorter than the previous books by the author.

What a rollercoaster of emotions!

What a rollercoaster of emotions I felt in this book. I was excited to see this novella taking us back to Grace and Drew, who I fell in love with in Restoration, but OMG!!! I could have strangled Drew!!

I understand he was under an undue amount of stress with the expansion, the pregnancy, his birthmother, and having to deal with Susan, BUT his actions had my heart beating wildly, my fists clenched, and an emotional lump clogging my throat with tears threatening! My heart broke for Grace, what she was feeling and the emotions she went through. I know some of the blame could fall to Grace but nowhere near half of it-that lay with Drew. Without going into details or anymore of the storyline, I thought everything came about smoothly.

Yet again, Kim Loraine gives us an emotionally, beautiful tale you will fall in love with. You need to read this series, I know you will fall in love with the characters just like I have.

A Golden Beach Novella - Lots of Marriage Drama

This is a continuation story. I recommend reading "Restoration" before this book.

The two main characters, Grace & Drew, are married and trying to start their new life together. There is a lot of drama and misunderstanding between them.

Narration was good. Things almost get out of control before they improve. I can't believe how awful Sarah is! Unbelievable!!!

Love the continuation of the story!

This is like seeing a friend you haven't seen in a long time and picking up where you left off. I love this series that Kim Loraine has written. Drew and Grace are finally married and expecting twins. Grace has found Drew's biological mother, much to Drew's dismay and this has put a wedge between them. Now with the expansion of the grocery, Grace's high risk pregnancy and the return of Sarah, there is much turmoil in their lives.

Spend your credit on something else

Not interesting enough to justify length. Starts before Flora was even born. Bonnie Prince Charlie section comparatively tiny.

I only finished because I have an interest in the period. It did seem like a fair bit of research went into it.

The romance books are very entertaining. And I loved them all, except the last one. It was so hard to read due to many typos.Too many, so that I couldn't get the gist of what was being written.

This story was interesting and after you remembered all the characters, it was smooth reading. In many instances, the reader can determine which direction the story lines is going for a character. That's not good but the narrative holds your attention to determine if you were correct in your assessment.

Many of Steele's novels give you a history lesson about different parts of the world. for me, those were her best novels.

Good vacation reading!

Good book to curl up with in bed.

Have not read a Danielle Steel book in almost 10 years. Decided to start reading her books again. Now I realize what I have been missing.

She tells the whole story without a lot of explicit sex. Most of the books these days concentrate on sex not a good story. Will be reading a lot more of her books in the future.

Lacking

I have read DS my entire life. I always look forward to her next novel. But, this was lacking. Too many characters that were not developed. The story line was so shallow.

Too many characters. Where is the plot? Couldn't get into it.

I have the unabridged audio version and had to give up on it after several chapters. Trying to keep straight the four roommates, their friends, and all the background was simply too convoluted for an audiobook. Probably someone who is reading a book would have a much easier time getting through it. Then there is Ms. Steel's habit of excessive narration at the beginning of her books, resulting in the first chapters reading like an outline for the book rather than the novel itself. It's just too much of her talk and not enough of the charactors interacting. I'm uneasy about trying to review a book I haven't heard or read, but finally decided that the fact I couldn't get through it is worth sharing. Also what's going on with her putting out so many books in a short time. I'd like to see less quantity and more quality.

Fun Little Listen

I loved this cute short story. The narrator was pleasant to listen to (and I'm picky about my narrators), and the story was a delight. I wanted to be there on the hike with Maggie and Lucas and see the beautiful places described and meet the people. Great afternoon escape!

The lead female was " olive skinned of greek descendant " NOT a black woman. If they just had said "brown skinned" and left the rest open to our imagination . That would be Fine. Entertaining

This is an entertaining, short story and a nice addition to the Heroes of Henderson Series. It is certainly entertaining to listen to the bad girl trying to be good and the good boy looking for a bad girl! Molly and Josh make a cute couple and we will hopefully hear more from them in the coming books in this series. Charles Lawrence, once again, brings the characters to life with his wonderful narration.

Charles Lawrence smoothly brings each of Liz Kelly's characters to life giving each a voice of their own.

Southern charm!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! Henderson is a small southern town I would love to live in and Liz Kelly's entertaining romantic comedies are the next best thing to being born and bred a southern magnolia. This book made me smile, swoon and laugh out loud.

What other book might you compare Taming Molly to and why?

Josh and Molly's escapades are very reminiscent of Erin Nicholas's Sapphire Falls series, especially her title, Getting It All. Both authors excel at writing small town romantic comedy and sexy romance.

What does Charles Lawrence bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Charles Lawrence's vocal ability is phenomenal! The perceived ease with which he captures each of the characters in this book is amazing and reading a sexy southern accent isn't nearly as sexy as hearing it is.
