Lisa Kyle runs the general store in Coldwood. She's stayed in town to take care of her mother; the only man she ever loved left years ago. But now he's back - and mixed up with a notorious criminal organization, the Serpent motorcycle club.

Growing up with no parents, Marcus Harrow didn't understand his bear shifter identity. Now he does - and he also knows that blonde, curvy Lisa is his fated mate. But that only makes things more difficult.

He can't tell her that he runs the Guardian Bears agency with two of his ex-Special Forces bear shifter friends, or that he's gone undercover to infiltrate the Serpent MC gang and put a stop to their use of dark forces.

The only way to keep her safe is to keep his distance. But how can he do that when both man and bear want to claim her forever?

When the gang grows suspicious of Marcus, Lisa and her mother are in the crosshairs. Can he rescue them without blowing his cover? And if he succeeds, will Lisa accept both sides of his nature, or will his deeper identity drive them apart?

Members Reviews:

I love this

Jeanie is a human. She gets sent to sun valley to do an environmental impact assessment on the wildlife. But the wildlife is more then it seems now she has to stop a plot to take away their land.

Great story. Short but full of action. The bad guys are ones easy to hate! Best kind right? Lol

Trained Bears

She came to do a job and she has learned more about the bears of Sun Valley. She's also learning that someone doesn't want her to do her job. This is a quick read. Enjoy I did.

Jeanie finds secrets

First things first, I received book for free in exchange for an honest review Jeanie loves spending time in the outdoors. Her job gives her plenty of it also. She works for an environmental agency. She has been sent to Sun Valley to check things out. She is in for lots of surprises. The company that wants the land is not really a business reason but more of a payback. What will Jeanie do when she learns the secrets of the town and secrets of why someone wants the land? Well, pick this one up and find out.

Three Stars

Basic story was ok but the storyline seemed to move forward too quickly.

Love Sun Valley

So happy I could read more about Sun Valley.

Jeanie was called in to do a survey, but she knew nothing about the why of what was happening.

When she met Ryan and the rest of the clan she found out exactly what was happening, but more than that she found a man worth fighting for.

Great story!

I was given a free ARC copy in exchange for an honest review

This next book in the Dragon series is about Kaleth and Porath. Two Dragon brothers with different characters. We have Kaleth as the more serious and sensual, who scents their mate first. Then Porath, who is cheeky, fun and loves being spontaneous. They bounce off each other so well within this story.

Their mate is Serenity. Sheâs had a hard life to date and feels unworthy of any kind of love and caring, that these two Dragons show her. Even after they assure her they are hers and she theirs, she still sees the negative side to life and being with them.

Serenity has a lot of internal anger to deal with and the last straw to her life to date, was being dumped int he forest by her boyfriend. He also turns out to be a Shifter, as you will find upon reading this book.

Members Reviews:

Enjoyed bonus stories. Glad I got it.

My rating is based upon my enjoyment of the story or book. In this case, short stories. Overall it was enjoyable and worth the money. I will be checking author's other works.

â Gears of Passion â Stella is a naive slut who runs a pleasure-bots rental shop. And, it's her duty to "try" them personally before renting out to the female clientele. As the story says, she's a modern-day pimp. After trying out a model that seemed human and newer model, the bot turns out to be a human who commits fraud and is wanted by the law. Leaving behind a wallet for her to find, she finds a ticket for a charity function and goes through with it. They end up leaving together, stuff happens, happy ending.

Bonus stories:

â Biomechanical Hearts â same pleasure bot shop concept, guy is humanoid. Skipped most of it.. I think now it may have been better than the first. Will read it all after all; Enjoyed the end and I missed the scheme for the bots to malfunction started in the first place.

â The Big Bang Alien Love Affair â I liked the concept of this story. In fact, was wishing at the end the author extended it an mine it. $ It has many issues we come across today in society. This could be extended. Club owner Larissa doesn't mind other alien races in her establishment. There, everyone dances, drinks and mingle. Although they mostly wear body suits to seem human. She uses her club to check out guys in hopes of finding a decent one. She gets proposals but she declines them all. She's looking for companionship but doesn't know what she's looking for. Floyd, that annoying employee that can't stay away from minding others business, suggests a dating site. She goes for it. And, Larissa comes across a lizard race in the dating site. She immediately falls for his gaze. They try to be accepted by the other and their dates end up being a series of embarrassing moments. I found it funny. Lizard man Vector ends up leaving her to go to a mission. Turns out he was part of the Congents, and the club had been under surveillance. I truly believe this could be a big novel; not a short story. You got activists called Congents, the Anti-Mixer Brigade (reminded me of my mother).

â Pleasure In the Stars â Enjoyed. Girls go on a trip through the job. They use a dating service for one of the friends and she finds love. Happy ending.

I could not put this book down, this was the first book I have read by this author and I want more! What he does not know is that he has ruined a case Samantha Huff, also with the NYPD has been working on, she is not happy! Sergeant Melendez tells them he has a case and they are both to work on it together ! The humans think someone is using wolves to kill people , but both Oscar and Samantha suspect it is shifters, who are not known to humans yet ! Oscar is a tiger shifter that nobody knows about, but why does Samantha a human think it is shifters? Will they get the case solved, and do they get a happy ending? I was gifted a copy for an honest review [email protected]

Not Quite, Could Be Better

This story has the potential to be good. The story was interesting, it's just that it was followed through completely. The sex scenes were not sexy to me because it's like the author doesn't know how to write them. I'm not quite sure what they were doing. An ARC was given to me for an honest review.

Didn't go where I was expecting

This seemingly final segment to this series of novellas wraps up Kimi's mission to Earth, as well as her relationships with Khan-Min and Lee5. While it did not go where I was expecting, I did find myself enjoying the path the author guided me down.

Life is full of hard choices, and these characters faced them.

Arriving from space, he's part man, part machine, with a rocket in his pants....

Stella runs her business selling "pleasure robots" with organization and efficiency. As he gets to know Stella, though, he'll find that while he might not be all human, he's definitely got a heart, and it wants only one woman.

Members Reviews:

Nope it is not...

Biomechanical Hearts

I hate it when people say this in reviews, but...

The author enquired a review and I always accept, but I was told it was like Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1) by Marissa Meyer...nope it is not. Now while I prefer more erotica over YA and love cyborgs, aliens and outer worldly things...this was not what I was expecting and it still let me down. But solid stuff worth a four stars...

Now for the ton of bonus content...I got to the second story and gave up at 8%, because the tone stays the same as it is the same author, it bored me and I really don't have 30+ hours according to my ereader, to push on and try finishing it, when as I said, the second story made me rather wanting to do exercise than live through it. Thus a two star for not wanting to go on.

Still, I suppose since I didn't finish it, three stars is fair to stay unbiased.

Short stories

I liked about half of these stories, which is pretty good compared to many of the others I've read. This group also keeps mostly to a sci-fi and paranormal mix which is what I enjoy. Just skip the ones that don't.

Biomechanical

I'm not sure how this got on my kindle, but I believe someone contacted me and requested a review. That being said, I downloaded it without reading the blurb and didn't realize what I was getting. Regardless, this is a series of short stories and I must say, it was very well written. Characters were interesting and likable, the book is well edited and not full of typos. The one issue I do have with it is it's double (if not triple) spaced, rather than the traditional space between lines. Little distracting/annoying. Other than that, pretty interesting set of short stories.

He's the Best One

She is a purveyor of pleasure bots and she is testing her latest one. He is not acting like any hot she ever bought before. This story has a little suspense and deception in it. Enjoy I did. In the Love and Whiskers bundle.

Imaginative

I was asked to read this collection of stories and write an honest review. Ms Myers has a vivid imagination and the ability to put what she imagines into words. Well written with good editing and well developed characters, this collection should appeal to fans of adult romance/fantasy.

The narrator was the death of the book!

The narrator "read" the story, and he did it in monotone rather than "perform " the story to bring the characters & storyline to life and make us care; he didn't (perform) and I didn't (care).

This is a book I will have to read the old-fashioned way!
