How to Get Out Of A Funk! | The Importance of Gratitude and Humility
When you’re in a funk, you have to fill yourself up with gratitude, which is not as simple as getting a fuel nozzle jammed into your fuel tank and filling it up. The price you have to pay for that is being open and humble, and walking away from pride. Sometimes we can’t choose our own circumstances or how other people treat us, and certain situations may be thrust upon us that are completely out of our control control, but we can choose to an extent how these things affect us and whether we’re going to be offended or use gratitude to see the positive, feel more happy, and just experience more peace. Gratitude doesn’t discount justice or extra necessary help like therapy, but it definitely helps ease the burden of unhappiness and dissatisfaction with one’s situation.
