On today's episode, Jason gets the party started with a quick update on the health status of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Apparently that ankle injury isn't as bad as originally thought and now bettors are back pounding the Chiefs. Definitely something to keep an eye on. Later, J-Mac does a deep dive into a full-proof way to 'hack' the NFL. History says you can't win a Super Bowl when your starting quarterback takes up a huge percentage of the cap. We all know that. However, a deeper dive will tell you if you can couple a lightly-paid quarterback with stout offensive line and a ferocious defensive front then you are basically assured to be a playoff team, at worst. If said quarterback also has a ton of college experience (a la Brock Purdy with the San Francisco 49ers and Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles) then your team should be a legitimate Super Bowl contender. So now that we're all aware how to 'hack' the NFL, who is going to be the next team to do it? Would the Detroit Lions dump Jared Goff for a quarterback on a rookie deal? Can the New York Jets afford to take another swing at a young signal caller after the Zach Wilson debacle? Only time will tell!
