Who we believe the Father to be is how we will express Him, so if we have an incorrect lens of the Father then we will end up misrepresenting Him. Similarly, people will operate out of the identity system they believe about themselves. These factors impact how we hear the voice of God. The Father would be a dysfunctional Father if He withheld His voice from us. Hearing the voice of God is our inheritance!

Joy and delight are central to the culture of Heaven. When we see life through a lens of joy, nothing becomes a limitation. We can look at a difficult person in front of us and engage with God’s preferred future point of view. In every situation, a simple question to ask is, “God, how do I find your joy, where do I see the delight of Heaven in this context?”.
