The Uncaged Clinician

How to translate strategy into design? With Tim Rhyne

Listen Later

What if I told you that your logo efforts would be more effective if you actually created an engaging narrative? What if I told you that there is a way to tie in your marketing message with the way your logo looks and feels? Wouldn't you be a bit curious to find out what it was?

This week Uncaged Clinicians, Kevin DeGroot interviews our guest, Tim Rhyne. They will be talking about How a logo is one of the most important pieces of your brand when it comes to communicating with your audience. Your brand image stays with your audience, it represents what your company is, who it serves, and where it fits in the market.

Tim Rhyne is the owner and founder of Typo Design Studio. He passionately serves clients within the Uncaged Clinician world through his craft of translating brand strategy into a visual language.

They will touch on such topics as:

  • Logo and design are not just graphic symbols. It is the idea of what it's like to be in your business.
  • Your logo should help you to properly communicate the mission, values, and vision that you want to share with your customers.
  • The reason your customers will come back to your business is that they want to be part of something bigger than themselves.
  • The purpose of a brand story is to bring personality to your company and illustrate the value you provide.
  • Building a good brand system will help establish you as an authority in your niche.
  • You should stop talking about "who" you are and start talking about the people that love you, instead: your clients!!!
  • When people see something as more relatable, more as ‘them’ and more of a part of something bigger (the brand) you have made an emotional connection and thus it feels like the brand is “a part of them”.
  • If you don't have a brand that people want to talk about or represent or communicate with their customers, it is so much harder to get word of mouth or referrals.
