As Projectors, we are deeply attuned to the energies around us, often absorbing and feeling the emotions of others. While this sensitivity is a gift, it can also become overwhelming without clear boundaries.I recently discovered a simple yet powerful art therapy exercise that helps me visualize and protect my energy. It’s a practice I now turn to whenever I feel depleted or unclear about where my energy ends and others begin.
Here’s how it works:
- Take a piece of paper and some colored pencils or markers.
- Draw small figures representing the people you encounter—both known and unknown.
- Choose a color that represents you, and draw a few figures representing your essence.
- Finally, draw circles around the figures that represent you—these circles are your protective energy boundaries.
This exercise is more than just art; it’s a tangible way to remind ourselves that we, as Projectors, can set clear boundaries while still remaining open to guiding others.By creating these energetic boundaries, we protect ourselves from absorbing the energy of others, allowing us to guide with clarity and strength. If you're a Projector or anyone who feels deeply connected to others' energies, I encourage you to try this exercise and discover the power of protecting your personal space.
