  • Rediscover Your "I Must" // Secret Place (Part 8)
Pastor Vlad concluded his series on the Secret Place with the sermon about discovering your I must. He went further into how Jesus calls us to be fruitful and not just busy. We must discover in our relationship with him about what is our purpose and our assignment from Jesus.
    Message Notes:
    1. We are called to be fruitful not just busy.
    John 15:5
Abiding in Jesus makes impossible possible.
Pressure to produce fruit is on the Vine, not branches.
    2. We are called to have productivity not just activity.
    1 Corinthians 3:12
Don’t just build your life on Christ, build it with Christ.
    Wood-hay-straw or gold-silver-precious stones:
Found on the ground; discovered under ground
Comes in big quantities; found in small quantities
    Cheap; expensive
    Common; rare
Destroyed by fire; purified by fire
For our work to have significance it must come out of our secret place.
Christians should not focus on losing their salvation; they should focus on not losing their reward.
    3. We are called to fulfill our assignment not everyone's agenda.
    Luke 4:42-43
Our identity is in relationship, not revival.
If the only time we pray is when we have issues - we don’t have intimacy.
Secret place gives you power not to live in reaction toward earth but in response toward heaven.
    Our assignment is finishable.
I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. John 17:4
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7
Secret place is the place where we discover and rediscover our “I MUST”

  • Impossible Made Possible // Secret Place (Part 7)
Pastor Vlad continued on the series "The Secret Place" with powerful message about the fruit that God expects out of our abiding in Him. That fruit is to make impossible possible.
    Message Notes:
We are called to be fruitful not just busy.
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5
Abiding in Jesus makes impossible possible.
Pressure to produce fruit is on the Vine, not branches.

  • Living from Inside Out // Secret Place (Part 6)
Pastor Vlad continued the series "The Secret Place". He talked about how we as christian live our lives from the inside out instead of outside in. The presence of God fills us and that overcomes the obstacles and the pressure from the outside. Be blessed by the principles of God to pursue God's presence above all.
    Message Notes:
Only the Holy Spirit can fill the hole in the soul.
    John 7:38; Luke 6:45; Proverbs 4:23
    Secret place is more than a place, its a state of mind. Philippines 4:6; Psalm 1:1-3; Genesis 6:3-5;
Prayer is the place where I visit God. Meditation is the place where God visits me.
Without the secret place - life is from outside in. In the secret place - life is from inside out.
Meditation on God is a visitation of God.
I can’t control what happens to me, but I am responsible for what happens in me.
Without a secret place - my heart is thermometer. In a secret place - my spirit is the thermostat.
Turn your THOUGHTS into TALKS with God.
    Turn your WORRY into WORSHIP.
Meditation brings visitation. Meditation brings transformation.
New age meditation empties the mind. Christian meditation fills the mind.
New age meditation is detachment. Christian meditation is attachment to God.
New age meditation is passive. Christian mediation is aggressive.
New age meditation is demonic. Christian meditation is Holy Spirit filled.
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” Viktor Frankl

  • Miracle Behind Closed Doors // Secret Place (Part 5)
Pastor Vlad continued on the series "The Secret Place". He went into detail of the story of Elijah and the poor widow and the divine instruction the prophet gave her that could change our life.
    Sermon Notes:
Focus on the presence inspite of the problems (2 Kings 4:1)
Presence of a problem is not an indication of God’s absence or his approval.
Focus on what’s left, not on what’s lost. (2 Kings 4:1)
God will use you to be part of solution to the problem you were a part of creating. If God changes my life without changing me, I will find myself in the same problem soon. Jesus wants to make my life better but also make me better at life.
When you lost everything, remember, the Holy Spirit did not leave you. If you recognize that Holy Spirit has not left you, he will being to lead you.
Face your fear (2 Kings 4:3)
Before God removes problem, he wants to remove fear. Flood of the past will not repeat in the future When clouds gather, look for the rainbow. Fear is faith in the reverse. Faith and fear both ask me to belie in something I can’t yet see. I choose faith
Secret place is the secret to God’s success (2 Kings 4:4)
Close the door of distraction so that God can open windows of heaven
Empty your mind of life’s problems so that God can fill it with his peace
Oil will multiply in the pouring. Talk to Holy Spirit in private and you will walk in Holy Spirit in public. Holy Spirit flows as I get filled, fellowship and follow him.
The flow of Holy Spirit is proportional with my faith
Sell in public what flows in private (2 Kings 4:7)
Principle of Provision: Sell. Pay. Live on what’s left.

  • Identity Amnesia // Secret Place (Part 3)
Pastor Vlad continued Secret Place series with powerful message on Identity Amnesia. In this message you will learn that if you want to have intimacy with God, you must start with your identity first.
    Message Notes:
Trees vs Tumbleweed: Tumbleweed is rootless. Trees have roots near river. Tumbleweed has no home. Trees are planted. Tumbleweed is dry. Trees don’t die in hot summer. Tumbleweed is aimless. Trees provide shade. Tumbleweed is ruthless and irritating. Trees bear fruit.
    1. New nature makes it natural to long after God (Ez.11:19; 36:26-27; Jer.31:31-34)
People don’t thirst after God for two reasons:
    - not born again
    - not renewed in their mind
Identity precedes intimacy. If are you not hungry after God, you forgot who you are.
    2. New nature needs nurture. (Ps.1:1)
Devotion to Jesus precedes devotions with Jesus.
    Walk. Stand. Sit (Ps.1:1)
    3. New nature needs nourishment. (Ps.1:2)
If you’re not hungry - you are not healthy. The way to get your hunger back is to view the Scriptures as food, not source of new information. Jesus works on me through his word (John 15:3; Eph.5:26; Ps.119:9, 11)
You’re not serving God when you’re reading Bible, Jesus is washing you.
    SOAP: Scripture Observation Application Prayer
    KISS: Keep It Scriptural Saints
Feed your spirit, not the birth (Mt.13:4)

  • Warming at the Wrong Fire // Secret Place (Part 2)
Pastor Vlad started a new series called The Secret Place. He talked about Peters life and how we can learn to develop that deep relationship with Holy Spirit that last through thick and thin.
    1. Peter focused on his love for Jesus, instead Jesus love for him. (Matthew 26:33-34; 1 John 4:19)
When we focus on our love for God instead of his love for us:
    - We end up living for an approval instead of out of an approval - We make empty promises instead of living in his presence.
    - We live on emotions instead of devotion.
    - Our passion lacks compassion.
    2. Peter slept when he was supposed to be praying. (Matthew 26:40; Luke 22:31-32; Mark 14:32-34; Hebrews 7:25; Matthew 12:28-30)
When our prayer life goes to sleep, our past life wakes up. SLEEPING saints become SLIPPING saints. If we don’t PRAY, we STRAY.
Secret place is where Jesus is interceding for you, therefore, enjoy his company, and receive his heart. Secret place is where you RELEASE your hurt and RECEIVE Gods heart.
    3. Peter followed Jesus from a distance to preserve his life. (Matthew 26:58; Matthew 16:24-25)
If we don’t deny self - we will deny the Savior. It’s easier to sacrifice sin than to sacrifice self. We follow Jesus when it brings success, but when it costs a sacrifice, we play safe by following him at distance.
Each day, a staggering 11 Christians are killed for their faith in the top 50 countries ranked on the World Watch List according to Open Doors USA report.
    4. Peter warmed himself at wrong bond fire (Mark 14:54; John 18:18; 1 John 2:15)
    World’s fire is: - Attractive
    - Addictive
    - Annihilating
    5. Peter went back to his old life and found it empty. (John 21:3; 2 Corinthians 7:10; John 21:9)
Remorse makes things worse. Don’t try to make things right without getting right with Jesus.
    Enemy’s Fire
    Build by the enemy
    Jesus at trial
    Denied Jesus 3 times
    Left in regret
    vs
    Holy Fire
    Build by Jesus
    Jesus triumphed
Affirmed love for Jesus 3 times Left restored

  • Keep Your Underwear On
Pastor Vlad preached in Generation for Truth a message about purity. He went into detail how God never addresses on how to date or which spouse to choose but about sexual purity because that applies to every aspect of our relationship.
    Message Notes:
We esteem purity too little and desire it too late!
Purity is not virginity. Virginity till marriage purity for life
    Psalm 24:4; Matthew 5:8; Exodus 28:42-43
Purity is the issue of the heart, it’s being without mixture!
Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22
    1. Purity is not a point you cross, it’s an outgoing pursuit.
It’s not a point you reach. Purity must be pursued. Purity is result of the pursuit. When you stop pursuing God, you stop living pure (even if you still live as a virgin)
Purity is not the focus, but passionate pursuit after Holy Spirit.
We need purity to be in God’s presence and we need God’s presence to live pure. Fruit of Holy Spirit is self-control. Fruit is produced slowly and effortlessly.
    2. We are not called to flight lust but to flee it.
Cut off the hand (remove trigger points)
Don’t eat of the tree (control your eyes where you can’t change the situation)
If you don’t want to fall into sexual sin, stop flirting with it.
Joseph called sexual sin a great wickedness, today men call it great weakness. God calls it disobedience, we see it as defeat
    3. Purity must be pursued in the a community.
Crowd creates cloud! Your tribe creates your vibe!
You can’t evangelize to those you are tempted by. 1 Corinthians 15:33 NIV
Friends either bring you the cripple to Jesus or cripple you!

  • Running Errands
Rikhard shared a powerful message how Christianity is not just part time but full time. If we are to receive full time rewards we have to be full time Christians. He further explained it deeper how Samual ran errands for the prophet and how God used him for his glory.
    Running Errands
    1 Sam 3:1
We are constantly running someone’s errands.
    Who’s errands are you running?
One tiny errand propelled Samuel into his divine destiny.
God is the God of the bigger picture - when HE acts, HE acts with a bigger picture in mind.
    Everything big starts little.
The longest journey and the most epic adventure begins with one step.
Four things made it possible for God to send Samuel
    1. He was about his Fathers business (Luke 2:49)
Many people do Christianity as a side hustle but expect a full time reward.
    The 10,000 hour rule - 3 hours a day, 7 days a week for 9 years.
Jesus wants full time followers, not part time followers.
    2. Samuel had someone showing him the way (1 Cor 11:1)
You can have no impact without intimacy.
You can make no difference without discipleship.
You can have no responsibility with a relationship.
Press close to who you want to be like. Press close to their word.
    3. Samuel made himself available. (Isaiah 6:8)
Jesus Christ is not looking for perfect people, He is looking for available people.
Matthew 15:34 - what do you have?
    God can use anything.
In Exodus, He used a stick to make bitter water sweet. In 1 Samuel, He used a stone to slay the Philistine. In 2 Kings, He used a prophets dead bones. He can use anything.
What is in your hands today? He used a rod in the hands of Moses, bread and fish in the hands of disciples, He used saliva to heal, aprons and shadows.
He used a donkey, He used a whale, He used a storm, He used man’s desire - He used a flash, He used a wind, He used earthquakes and He uses fire! God can use you!
You may say you’re not worthy to be used, you may say you’re an addict. Noah was too! He was addicted to alcohol. Peter struggled with anger. James and John struggled with pride. Gehazi was greedy, Gideon had fear. David and Samson had lust. Jacob was a liar, Matthew was a thief. Samuel was too young, Abraham was too old, Esther was of wrong ethnicity. God can use you!
God takes what is and creates what wasn’t
    4. Samuel gave what he had (Acts 3:1)
Fill yourself up with Jesus. You can’t give what you don’t have.
There is a big need in this world - laborers are few. Let God use you

  • Secret Place // Secret Place (Part 1)
Pastor Vlad preached a message on the secret place or secret sins. He explained the difference if you don't have a secret place with God you will have secret sins which will leads to scandals. He further explain how to develop a secret place with God and how to close the doors to every distraction. We want to thank New Life Church in Georgia Atlanta for providing this footage.
    Message Notes:
Secret place or secret sin: (Joshua 6:25; 7:1)
    - Rehab hid spies, Achan hid clothes
    - Rehab was saved, Achan was destroyed.
    - Rehabs family was rescued, Achans family was stoned.
    - Rehab lived in Jericho, Achan loved Jericho.
    - Rehab wanted to be like Israel, Achan wanted to be like Jericho.
Private sins lead to public scandals.
Christian build with two types of material his life on Christ: (1 Corinthians 3:11-15)
    - Wood-hay-straw or gold-silver-precious stones
    - Found on the ground; discovered under ground
    - Comes in big quantities; found in small quantities
    - Cheap; expensive
    - Common; rare
    - Destroyed by fire; purified by fire
If we are building our life with wood/hay/straw then it will be quick, big, cheap and not last through the test of time or trials of life.
But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6
And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” 2 Kings 4:4
    1. Close the door of distraction if you want God to open the window of heaven
Intimacy happens behind closed doors! Distractions divide our attention, birth defeat.
    Vashti vs Ester:
One served women; another prepared a meal for the king.
One prepared a feast; another led women into a fast.
One lost her crown; another saved her nation
    2. Don’t go to a secret place to look for God, go there to be with him.
    Exodus 24:12
God loves your presence way more than you enjoy his
In prayer God sees relationship more than rules, friendship more than formalities
God is still waiting for you in your secret place even after you have fallen into your secret sin
    Isaiah 1:18; Genesis 3:8-9
    3. He will reward publicly what’s done privately
If oil flows in private you can sell it in public
    Secret place brings personal transformation
Secret place brings demonic elimination (Matthew 11:12; 1 Timothy 1:18)
