Both breast cancer survivors, both grandmothers, 10 plus years later….

Lynn Kearns Christian, wife, mother of four, grandmother of eight. Health care professional forty plus years. Researcher, yoga teacher, multiple international medical missions, hiker, book lover, gardener. Experienced breast cancer 14 years ago. Attended the first HealingStrong gathering with my dear friend Christine. Began the first HealingStrong group in Gainesville with Suzy, Christine Holcomb, Marsha Dicky and Dr. V.

Christine is a 12 year breast cancer thriver, mom of 2, and grandmother of 3. Christine always thought she was one of the healthiest in her family, but then ended up with cancer. Her diagnosis sent her on a path of searching for answers to understand, how and why. Christine’s journey led her in helping with the very first HealingStrong group back in 2013. Today, Christine remains a part of HealingStrong, as she loves the mission and working with the HealingStrong community, all while continuing to learn and grow.

In this episode, they discuss starting the first HealingStrong Group, reducing toxins and more.

Suzy has served in various roles in education and community health for 30 years. In 2009, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Her personal family losses coupled with extensive research and prayer led her to choose a holistic approach inspired by Dr. Max Gerson, and is now a 13+ year Thyroid Cancer Thriver. Her vision for HealingStrong began as a true grassroots movement to help connect others to life giving hope and empowering patients with healing truths.⁣ HealingStrong equips its group participants through small community groups worldwide.

Jeff Griswold is married to Suzy and has served HealingStrong since day 1. You will often find him behind the scenes preparing videos or directing the conferences. Married for 31+ years, he loves all things soccer, and being Dad to their two adult sons. Jeff’s passion is getting the stories of hope into the hands of those who need it most.

Gel (Angelica) and her husband promptly brought her 2015 diagnosis up to the Lord and He led them to a path that involved implementing a better lifestyle; employing non-conventional therapies; uplifting the soul; collaborating with integrative practitioners; and partnering with praying friends that surround us with positivity. HealingStrong is Gel’s answered prayer and so she is dedicating this ministry to all that may be encouraged and have a closer relationship with the Healer.⁣

Mary was introduced to Suzy and HealingStrong in 2014 as her husband Nigel was fighting colon cancer. Mary and Nigel recognized the benefit of going beyond conventional treatment to include Spiritual and Emotional healing, dietary changes and realizing that Hope is a huge strategy when battling chronic diseases. Mary joined the HealingStrong Family as a leader in Houston in 2016 and is a Regional mentor. The Houston group is the longest running HealingStrong group. Mary’s focus is on ensuring that each person going through a cancer journey has a Village of support, Hope, Faith, & Love.

Laura Bradshaw was called into ministry in 2011 and in 2017 became the head of Journey U.  

Laura is a writer, speaker, life coach, and prayer minister.  She is the author of “Trace Modeling: Tracing Back Negative Life Patterns, So You Are Free to Move Forward” an 8-course curriculum that guides students through their personal inner healing journeys. This curriculum was written from Laura’s personal healing journey and the leading of the Holy Spirit to help others apply the same truths and tracing model in their lives through God’s word.

James Templeton is a 35 plus year Stage 4 Melanoma cancer survivor. After conventional treatments failed, James immersed himself in the world of alternative therapies – discovering modalities like a macrobiotic diet and intravenous vitamin C therapy.
