We Want To Hear From YOU!
Don’t let one fool you into believing there is a specific way to pray, specific words that make God move, or that you need to burn a candle, light incense, or buy a prayer cloth or shawl, all of that is foolishness and is insulting to God.
What kind of God, what kind of Father would require his children to jump through hoops to communicate with Him. Don’t get caught up in the circus productions, God is concerned with building His Kingdom not a sideshow production.
Make prayer part of your daily life, long prayers, short prayers, one word prayers, audible prayers, silent prayers, it doesn’t matter, just keep the lines of communication with God open.

I encourage each of you to evaluate where you are professionally, personally, and spiritually and decide what policies in your life need to be adjusted, revamped, tweaked or flat out replaced what is currently in place.
The hardest thing about implementing policy change will be those around you as some will have to be dismissed, as well as, brought up to speed on what is now tolerable and not tolerable under the new system.
Some folks you are going to have to tell me no you will no longer talk to me like that I have made some policy changes, no you I can no longer allow that to occur in my house there have been some policy changes. NO, I will no longer financially support that, there has been a policy change. Or moving forward, we will seek the word of God as our counsel, because there has been a policy change.
Every aspect of our lives requires change, shifts, renewing of our minds and policy changes.
We were all destined for greatness, failure to embrace change will hinder your access to the greatness that has been slated for you.
“Don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the great.”

Does Humility Still Exist in a World Focused on Social and Self Promotion?
The increase in self-esteem has corresponded to a decrease in humility. More and more we see people wanting fame, wanting to be noticed, wanting to be considered important, wanting eyes on them.
Unfortunately, we see this exalted from the pulpit to penthouse to the house projects. The spirit of arrogance, bodaciousness, and self-centeredness are all ploys and tactics that fall contrary to the will and ways of God.
As a matter of fact these are the characteristics of Satan Himself and what prompts God to dismiss Him from Heaven.Satan was kicked out of heaven because of pride. He desired to be God, not to be a servant of God.
We see this mentality exalt now in our political leaders, amongst entertainers and common folk who have created and become profit off false depictions of reality.
If you read Isaiah 14:12-15, you will see the extent of Satan’s arrogance, just reading it made me quench. In a boastful and arrogant manner he spoke these words:
“I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”
Satan was likely the highest of all angels, the anointed cherub, the most beautiful of all of God’s creations. In Ezekiel 28:13 the scripture infers that Satan was a master musician as the scripture boasts of his workmanship of your timbrels and pipes”.
But he was not content in his position. Instead, Satan desired to be God, to essentially “kick God off His throne” and take over the rule of the universe. Satan wanted to be God.
Now not too many of us are bodacious enough to declare we want to actually be God, but our actions, pretensions, and since of entitlement declares it for us as we see to be worshiped by other, even revered, with all eyes on us, we want our voice to heard
over everyones else and we seek to be served and a servant.
A godly humility means being able to recognise that you are not the most important person in any given scenario. This could be with your partner when discussing a recent argument or in the workplace in a meeting when you let someone else have their five minutes.
Humility has become a rare quality to find in someone, as the act of being humble requires modesty and self reservation and these two attributes can be easily confused with being passive, insecure or submissive.
God’s idea of humility is not for us to downplay the magnificence in which He created us for we are incredible beings as we were made in the very image of God.
“Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less.”

Joshua went down in history as the one who escorted the Israelites into the Promised Land because when circumstances beyond his control presented themselves, he was able to adapt and didn’t shun change.
Life is all about change, growth, sunny days, cloudy days, and yes even rainy days, with yesterday looking different than the day before and tomorrow requiring something different from us than today.
One’s inability to embrace positive change stops growth and halts God’s ordained purpose. An inability to embrace change is a crippling handicap that labels one as stagnant.
Think of it this way, we know water is absolutely indispensable for human life, but at the same time, all water will not sustain life. Stagnant water can compromise the quality of life and even kill. A state of stagnancy goes against the very principle of life.

The gift I want to talk to you about this morning is bigger than your skills, and your title, it's even more astounding than your purpose. No priority or position supersedes its true value.
This gift is often discounted, not revered, and undervalued, as we are sometimes cavalier with it. We even at times have the audacity to measure the size of this gift with arrogance, and entitlement as we just walk day by day assuming we will always have access to this priceless gift.
But there is no doubt about it without this gift we are all worthless, completely incapacitated, useless. And no one can take the credit for giving this gift but God

There comes a time in each of our lives when we will be challenged to have some hard conversations. You know conversations where you have to be absolutely truthful, and transparent and when you have to position yourself to hear the truth from someone else and allow them to be transparent.
The most difficult part of these conversations is that they call us into accountability, they check us. They often critique our actions, reactions, and perceptions.
Unfortunately, we live in a culture where truth is not widely embraced, criticism is deemed critical, offensive, and almost fatal. The popular perception is if “they don’t agree with me, then they are against me”. Constructive criticism is shunned but the Bible tells us in Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.

Now some of you may be too sanctified for this message this morning.....
.....The word devotion is defined as an enthusiastic form of loyalty, faithfulness and devoutness that goes beyond the surface and taps into the spirit.
God’s devotion to us has never shaken, never been in question, and He has never failed us.
But our devotion to Him is continually shakened, often questioned and when it comes to the true test of devotion we often fail.
And God knowing that we are not perfect being, and also knowing the traps of deceptiveness, and the things in the world that would compromise our devotion, he sent us a word…
Hebrews 13:5 “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
In that one verse God gives us instruction on how to deal with what He knew would be the primary source that would beckon us to compromise our devotion to Him.
Look around, pay attention, most of our crimes against one another, and violations of the mandates of God are spearheaded by greed, materialisms and desires of the flesh, as we are never satisfied.
God reminds us that we have no need to buy into a mentality that nurtures greed, or materialism, for He will never leave or forsake us.
He, the creator of all things, the one who hung the moon and the stars, the only one who can defy the laws of nature, and bring forth miracles that can change anything in an instant.
If He has devoted Himself to never leave or forsake us, how and why would we allow our devotion to him to be compromised by going after things on our own, when He is a better provider than we could ever be.
I will tell you why, because our devotion to him has not delved below the surface, our devotion to him has not seeped into our spirits, our devotion to HIM has not been embraced by our soul.
That is so evident that we can hear, see and do things and have no reflection of Him or maintain a consciousness that has no correction from him.
True devotion aligns every aspect of one’s being according to the standard of the loyalty upon which the devotion was established.

I want to give you a brand new perspective regarding those 3 words; old as dirt.
Soil, sand, clay, and dust are all derivatives of dirt.
If we were to take the time to analyze the uses of these things we would have to humble ourselves and admit that dirt is an incredibly marvelous and underrated commodity.
Soil is the means by which sustenance is provided for grass, trees, shrubs, and all vegetation. So we see here that dirt, just like those proclaimed as old as dirt, has the ability to restore, sustain and add value to life.
Did you know that sand contains an element called silica aka quartz? This single element makes sand uniquely valuable, as the silica found in sand is needed to make products such as glass and it is also what makes sand an abrasive property, useful for traction on icy roads and railroads, and suitable for sandblasting.
The applicable life lesson we can learn from sand is that this derivative of dirt can produce unimaginable creations to be used in unimaginable ways, while also being influential in derailing what could be detrimental when things become slippery and unpredictable.
Then there is clay which has been proven to
Another life lesson to grasp is that “clay” is the derivative of dirt that manages to assist in protecting and restoring our most vulnerable parts while aiding in our digestion, actions, and reactions to our environment.
Dirt is looked upon as worthless, insignificant, something to just trample on.
We don’t revere “dirt” with the accolades we should. Dirt has been around since the beginning of time.
Read the story of creation in Genesis 1; first came heaven, then came earth aka dirt, the two most important components of God’s infrastructure. After creating heaven and earth everything else He God created was created to be committed to heaven and resourced from earth aka dirt.
From the beginning, God shows how He valued dirt. As I went down the list and told you the value of soil, sand, and clay, I left out dust. Now allow me to tell you about the value of dust.
Genesis 2:7 scripture reads, “Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature”.
The creator of all things took dust, a derivative of dirt, when decided to create the one single thing He desired to be in His own image.
God took dust to create what He “purposed”. God took dust to bring Him glory. He used dust to form and shape mankind and then breathed into it, then pronounced what he created with dust and his breath to give Him praise.
So you are all of a certain age out there, when someone wants to discount your worth by referring to you as being as old as dirt, thank them. Then ask “What is the valued commodity of the substance of your being”.
Say what you want to say, I am proud of my dirt-infused heritage.
