  • #04: How we can all embrace being a little more selfish w/ Colleen Nichols

#04: In today's episode I get a chance to tell the story of how my friend mine and Colleen's paths crossed and how direct sales was the springboard to us working together.  We talk more about the power of saying "yes" and taking a chance on yourself and the importance of having friends/ mentors/ expanders in your world that push you to be your best.

I also ask Colleen about the reason behind choosing a word of the year in 2022 and how being "selfish" has become a lifestyle that not only is life-giving for her, but how this shift to prioritize herself has benefitted her marriage, business, and family life as well.
You can find Colleen on Instagram at @colleen__nichols, @noshamesalesgame, and @directsalesgrowthcommunity and if you're looking for a community to help with your direct selling business, come join us at https://www.directsalesgc.com.
I hope our conversation inspires you to be honest about your needs, pursue your desires, and find your own ways to be selfish!

  • #03: What are you waiting for?

#03: This transition from Therapist to Coach has me looking at the gap between identifying a problem and taking action to improve your circumstances differently.  Today I talk about the auto-pilot lifestyle we can find ourselves in as we circle around acknowledging a problem then quickly rattling off barriers to seeking a solution.... rinse, wash, repeat.

I ask you all to take a moment to really consider "What am I waiting for?" so you can get to the heart of the matter.  When we can be honest with ourselves about where we're at, what's holding us back, and what the real barriers are to improving/ addressing parts of our lives, that's when new opportunities are considered and new solutions can be taken!

Whether it's your physical health, your relationships, your career, your self-esteem, whatever... I encourage you all to take a second and get real with yourself when you ask "What am I waiting for?" You are too damn special to experience life feeling stuck, overwhelmed, lonely... anything but your best!

To connect more with me, you can find me on Instagram @meganmkjolsing or email me at [email protected]!
If working with me feels like a good fit for you, here are a few options available to you right now:
    1. My self-led SHE IS WORTHY course that includes a month of group Voxer support as you walk through the 4 modules.  To anyone who purchases in March, you'll be added to the group chat throughout the month of April

  • #02: Emotions vs. Emotional Energy

#02: Ideas for moving emotional energy:

    1. Describe your experience as "energy" instead of emotions and see if that changes your judgement, opinion, or relationship with your feelings

    2. Notice the sensations you experience in your body when you're having different emotional experiences.  Happiness, fear, sadness, anger, etc.- where do you feel these sensations in your body?  And what does your body feel like when you're in alignment and not having strong waves of emotional energy?

    3. Recognize and then resist any "good" vs. "bad" labels for your feelings.  Emotions are what they are and judging them as good or bad only magnifies our experience of them and puts us at risk of suffering to whatever you're going through

    4. Engage in some sort of activity that literally helps you MOVE the energy- yell, sing, cry, go for a walk, dance, stretch, do EFT tapping, engage in some form of exercise, journal your thoughts and feelings, talk with someone about what you're experiencing, etc.  Do something active to move the energy through your body and then you can seek out other coping skills like reading, listening to music/ a podcast/ hypnosis tracks, etc., sleep or rest, or anything else you might need to de-compress from the wave of emotions you experience.
