  • Max Gall - Music Artist
Born in Heidelberg, Germany, Max Gall moved to a small town in Pennsylvania only two years into his life. Max is known for his unique chord structures and rhythmic acoustic guitar. His unique style and love of alternate tunings comes from an interest as a kid in players like Don Ross and Antoine Dufour, though before discovering that style he was raised on artist like Neil Young, Eddie Vedder and The Rolling Stones. His father always had an acoustic guitar around the house and would teach him little bits here and there, and once Max reached his teenage years he was hooked. Structuring songs became a way for him to express himself; an escape from the world around him that allowed him to unwind and reset.

During his high school years Max formed the band Coastal Remedy with some friends and went on to record two full length albums. After ten years of ups and downs he made the decision to join his drummer and longtime friend in Nashville, Tennessee to try his hand at a solo career. Like many independent artist Max is just finding his way; no matter where life takes him music will always be a part of his journey.

His discovery takes a sinister turn when he tracks down similar broadcast intrusions that send him on an obsessive mission. Now James must confront two very real possibilities: that the videos may be clues to a crime beyond all comprehension; and that whoever was behind them may be very aware that James is coming uncomfortably close to the truth.

  • Celebrity Vocal Coach Eric Vetro - "BACKSTAGE PASS" Podcast
"BACKSTAGE PASS" IS A NEW PODCAST HOSTED BY CELEBRITY VOCAL COACH ERIC VETRO, FEATURING CONVERSATIONS WITH ARIANA GRANDE, JOHN LEGEND, SHAWN MENDES, AND MORE

Backstage Pass with Eric Vetro launches October 20, 2021

There's one special thing the most famous singers in the world have in common: his name is Eric Vetro. From Ariana Grande to Shawn Mendes to John Legend, vocal coach Eric Vetro has been by the sides of your favorite singers for some of the most iconic moments in their careers. On "Backstage Pass," Vetro's celebrity students retrace their vocal journeys, from the very first song they ever sang and their favorite vocal exercises through the challenges they faced building their careers.

Eric Vetro is one of the country's most in-demand vocal coaches for a reason. For over 35 years, Vetro has worked in Hollywood with students that include A-list actors, Broadway singers, and global pop stars. They meet with him regularly to prepare for Broadway productions, movie musical roles, world tours and nationally televised awards shows. Even for the naturally gifted, professional singers prepare with the extreme discipline of runners getting ready for a marathon. Vetro sees students seven days a week, sometimes waking up in the middle of the night to warm up singers on tour many time zones away or teaching in unusual locations such as the backs of SUVs, alley ways, and even bathrooms before shows. Amid grueling tour schedules and high-pressure performances, he is there for these singers every step of the way. Bubbly, magnetic, and beloved by his students, he has the kind of personality that led Ariana Grande to tweet, "Eric Vetro is my favorite person ever."

Originally from a small city in upstate New York, Eric Vetro started an amateur vocal teaching practice, teaching his classmates how to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner." He went on to study voice and piano at NYU, finding a mentor in Lloyd Walser, a chorus master at the New York City Opera. Inspired by his targeted approach, Vetro does not try to make everyone sound the same, but rather emphasizes what makes a student sound special. He moved to LA in 1984 and has been growing his student list ever since.

"Backstage Pass" will include interviews with many of Vetro's vocal students, including Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Chloe Bailey, Rosalia, Camila Cabello, Vanessa Hudgens, Stephanie Beatriz, and John Legend. These intimate conversations will reveal the secrets behind how these performers hit those high notes (spoiler: one is a technique called "Silent Ferocious Lion's Yawn") and will emphasize why Eric has become the coach, therapist and friend to the most well-known singers in the music business.

Eric Vetro is the celebrity vocal coach to stars such as Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, John Legend, Camila Cabello, Katy Perry, Rita Ora, Chloe x Halle, Juanes, and Rosalia as well as the lead singers from bands like Haim, Weezer, Incubus and Muse. He has trained A-list actors for the movie musicals La La Land, Chicago, Judy, Mary Poppins Returns, Hairspray, Beauty and the Beast, Eurovision, In The Heights and Cinderella as well as the new releases Dear Evan Hansen, Tick Tick.Boom!, and Disney's Encanto. He has worked with many Disney stars who went on to have singing careers such as Vanessa Hudgens, Sabrina Carpenter, Ashley Tisdale, Olivia Holt, Laura Marano, and Dove Cameron. He has also worked with many Broadway actors including Tony-award winners Hugh Jackman and Bette Midler.

Backstage Pass with Eric Vetro - first 4 episodes

    Episode 1: Ariana Grande

    Airing: 10/20

Eric talks with Ariana Grande about her vocal range, how Broadway influences her music, touring, and the struggles of perfect pitch and how it can be both a blessing and a curse. We also get to learn more about Eric and how being a vocal coach is all about listening and thinking on his feet.

    Episode 2: Shawn Mendes

    Airing: 10/27

When we think of world-famous singers, we would never expect them to have anxiety about performing their songs for live audiences. But that's not always the case. In this episode, Eric talks with Shawn Mendes about how he has worked hard to get comfortable trusting the process and trusting his voice.

    Episode 3: Chloe Bailey

    Airing: 11/3

Chloe Bailey is probably most famously known as one half of sister group Chloe x Halle, but through her acting, choreography, and solo music career she's got the entertainment market covered. In this interview, Eric talks with Chloe about her musical inspirations, how and why she learned to produce her own music, and how her family jokes that - as the world's biggest Beyoncé fan - she manifested she and her sister being one of the first artists signed to Beyoncé's production company.

    Episode 4: Rosalia

    Airing: 11/10

Eric talks with Rosalia about her work ethic and how her perfectionism and persistence makes her career. They also talk about flamenco, Rosalia's vibrato, and how the 2019 Latin Grammys were the only time she can think of when she wasn't in the right headspace to perform; her grandfather had passed just the day before.

ABOUT BRETT BAIER'S BOOK TO RESCUE THE REPUBLIC: ULYSSES S. GRANT, THE FRAGILE UNION AND THE CRISIS OF 1876

From Bret Baier, New York Times bestselling author, award-winning chief political anchor for Fox News Channel, and the anchor and executive editor of Special Report with Bret Baier, comes TO RESCUE THE REPUBLIC: Ulysses S. Grant, the Fragile Union, and the Crisis of 1876 (Custom House; Hardcover; $28.99; on sale October 12, 2021), a riveting and timely reassessment of Ulysses S. Grant. This first installment in Baier's new book series illuminates the life and legacy of one of America's most consequential yet misunderstood leaders, Ulysses S. Grant, whose actions both as general and as president played an unparalleled role in preserving the United States.

Published against the backdrop of our own time's extreme political division and recent contested election, Baier's meticulously researched narrative could not be more relevant. While Grant's military genius during the Civil War is rightly celebrated, it has overshadowed our appreciation of his remarkable political leadership as president during the Reconstruction Era. Baier argues that Grant's two terms in the White House were equally consequential, notably his commitment to protecting the rights of African Americans and suppressing the Ku Klux Klan. All the while, Grant sought to all hold together the fragile Union-a mission that would be tested by a crisis that consumed his last days in office, one that threated to plunge the nation back into civil war.

Born a tanner's son in rugged Ohio in 1822 and battle-tested by the Mexican American War, Grant met his destiny on the bloody fields of the Civil War. His daring and resolve as a general gained the attention of President Lincoln who appointed Grant as Lieutenant General of the Union Army in March 1864. Within a year, Grant's forces had seized Richmond and forced Robert E. Lee to surrender. Four years later, the reunified nation faced another leadership void when, following Lincoln's assassination, an unworthy successor completed his term. Again Grant answered the call. At stake once more was the future of the Union, for though the Southern states had been defeated, it remained to be seen if the former Confederacy could be reintegrated into the country-and if the Union could ensure the rights and welfare of African Americans in the South. Grant met the challenge by boldly advancing an agenda of Reconstruction.

In his final weeks in the White House, however, Grant faced a crisis that threatened to undo his life's work. The contested presidential election of 1876 produced no clear victory for either Republican Rutherford B. Hayes or Democrat Samuel Tilden, who carried most of the former Confederacy. Soon Southern states vowed to revolt if Tilden was not declared the victor. Grant was determined to use his influence to conserve the Union, establishing an electoral commission to peaceably settle the issue. Grant brokered a grand bargain: the installation of Republican Hayes to the presidency, with concessions to the Democrats that effectively ended Reconstruction. This painful, though perhaps necessary compromise saved the Union, but the consequences of Reconstruction's roll-back stills haunt the country.

Deep with contemporary resonance and brimming with fresh detail, TO RESCUE THE REPUBLIC reveals Grant, for all his complexity, to be among the first rank of American heroes.

PRISE FOR TO RESCUE THE REPUBLIC

"With To Rescue The Republic, Bret Baier, the nation's leading reporter of history, has written a veritable tour de force. This remarkable book is history as it should be: magnificently composed, meticulously researched, and brimming with lessons for today's divided political arena. Baier has brought to life the riveting but too often forgotten story of how US Grant preserved the Republic at one of its moments of greatest peril. This is not just a tale for our age, but an absorbing tale for the ages. It belongs on the bookshelf of every lover of history."- Jay Winik, New York Times bestselling author of April 1865 and 1944

"Bret Baier's To Rescue the Republic is narrative history at its absolute finest. With great verve and a fair-and-balanced ethic, Baier brilliantly recounts the heroic life of Ulysses S. Grant - as Civil War general, U.S. President, Reconstruction Era leader and beloved national icon. His dramatic retelling of the election of 1876 which pitted Samuel J Tilden against Rutherford B. Hayes is stupendous. A fast-paced, thrilling and enormously important book. Highly recommended!"- Douglas Brinkley, the Katherine Tsanoff Brown Chair in Humanities and Professor of History at Rice University and author of American Moonshot

Changing the Faces of Homelessness was founded by Katrina Williams, a Mental Health Case Manager who worked with the Regional Behavioral Health Authority under Value Options and Magellan Health Services for over 15 years in Phoenix, AZ. Katrina Williams recently relocated to Los Angeles CA and began working for Volunteers of America as a Case Manager for the Hope for Homes Shelter Program in Pomona CA. During her employment with VOA one of her clients ended their life via sucuide with her client's sudden death, she realized the severity of the Los Angeles homeless crisis and developed the CFH supportive housing Program where she provides realistic resources (employment, counseling etc.) to meet her residents' realistic goals with housing.

With over 6000 Homeless Individuals on Skid Row, Changing the Faces of
Homelessness (CFH) is Bringing Hope with Healing & Housing
Changing the Faces of Homelessness (CFH) is excited to announce their 2 nd Annual
Breakthrough Event on August 28 th at St. Julian Park located at 312 East 5 th St., Los Angeles,
from 12pm-4pm. Their new 360 Turnaround Housing program will allow CFH staff to accept
applicants with no income and house them for 90 days at no charge. The mission is to change
the faces of homelessness by providing services that move clients from a life of dependency
into a new life of self-sufficiency with independence.
Founded by Katrina Williams, the event will honor late actor Gary Hays, known for The
‘Burbs, Busted and Evil Laugh. Hays most recently appeared as himself in Corey Feldman's
documentary My Truth…The Rape of Two Coreys. He spoke candidly about his friendships with
both Corey Haim and Corey Feldman, as well as his own struggles with addiction, which he
sadly succumbed to in 2019. Corey Feldman will honor Hays at the event and there will also be
    a live musical performance.
Feldman states “Katrina is the most sincerely compassionate and selfless person I have
ever come into contact with in the Social Services work force. The dedication and personal
touch she puts into everything she does gives me hope for the Millions of Homeless people in
our Country, knowing that there are still people out there like Katrina who willingly do Gods work
to help those who can no longer themselves, while refusing to give up as long as they are still
    breathing.”
Katrina Williams worked closely with Hays during her employment with Volunteers of
America. Following Gary’s death, she was shocked and saddened to learn that there was no
type of long-term housing offering supportive services for individuals suffering from addiction
and coming directly from rehab. Taking matters into her own hands, she developed a
permanent housing program with supportive services called Changing the Faces of
Homelessness. They help their residents by providing resources and tools to help them
overcome their addictions and take ownership of their lives.

Williams states “When I developed the program, I wanted to ensure our program would
empower others by bringing life changing results. Gary may have lost his battle, but his death
was not in vain. We continue to house the homeless while providing employment resources and
ongoing life skills to help our residents reach their full potential daily.”

  • JERRY FLANAGAN, Army veteran and New Discovery Channel series OPERATION HIDDEN TREASURES
    ABOUT OPERATION HIDDEN TREASURES

New TV series, Operation Hidden Treasures follows enterprising U.S. Military Veterans and their families whose mission is to salvage and repurpose otherwise unused items and turn them in to 'treasures' for people in need. The series premieres on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. Eastern on Discovery Channel.

Operation Hidden Treasures features a nation-wide effort by hard-working military veterans from J-Dog Junk Removal and Hauling, America's largest veteran-owned franchise system, who utilize their unique service skills to change lives by recovering and repurposing 'junk' donated by ordinary citizens into valuable treasures for families and veterans in need.

JDog Junk Removal & Hauling is a franchised operation wholly owned and operated by Veterans and their families. Giving back to people in need is part of Military tradition. In every episode, we witness JDog's quest to recycle or repurpose as much as 80% of the objects that their teams pick up from each job - with unexpected items embarking on a new journey to benefit a family or veteran in need.

It's American Pickers meets Pawn Stars but with a higher purpose.

    Episode highlights:

. Hauling away a family's unwanted furniture and using it to help a veteran with PTSD furnish his new apartment

. Dragging an old fishing boat out of 20 years of underbrush, cleaning it up, and donating it to a female veteran so she can go fishing with her son

. Assisting a pre-teen as he donates his old clothes, games and toys to other children in need

. Rehabbing a pick-up truck that is given to a construction worker recovering from a near-death experience with HIV

Jim Milio will executive produce and oversee the series. JDog Media, LLC and Alliance Cinema will co-produce the ten episode series which will premiere on the Discovery Channel Sunday, October 10 at 8:00 am and on the American Heroes Channel Thursday, October 14 at 8:30 pm Eastern/5:30 pm Pacific Time. Veteran-owned clothing manufacturer Grunt Style is the primary sponsor of the series.

There have only been a few unscripted TV shows featuring America's Veterans. Operation Hidden Treasures is a television series that showcases Veterans who are serving their country once again, this time in their own backyards.

JDOG AUCTIONS - Every episode will also include a JDog Auction of an intriguing item discovered during a cleanout and made available to bid on by the public via the JDog website. Profits from every auction are donated to the JDog Foundation which helps fund PTSD and education resources for Veterans and their families.

    ABOUT HOST JERRY FLANAGAN

Jerry is an Army Veteran and entrepreneur who, along with his wife Tracy, have created a national Veteran brand dedicated to empowering Veterans through entrepreneurship. Rooted in the Military values of Respect, Integrity, and Trust, the JDog®️ Junk Removal & Hauling and JDog®️ Carpet Cleaning franchise systems have become a nationwide movement, creating business and employment opportunities for Veterans and Veteran family members.

Jerry launched the first JDog Junk Removal & Hauling franchise in 2011. It was a two-person operation - Jerry hauled junk and Tracy managed the back office. As a Veteran, Jerry gained trust and credibility with customers quickly, and referrals came easy. Within a year, he had more business than one person could handle and began hiring local Veterans who embodied the brand's values.

Through Jerry's vision and leadership, JDog Junk Removal & Hauling has since grown to hundreds of locations, 90 percent of which are Veteran owned. To date, the company has created more than 1,000 job opportunities across the United States.

Jerry served in the Army from 1987 to 1989 and finished at the top of his class. He was awarded the Army Achievement Medal. Since transitioning back to the civilian world, Jerry has committed himself to helping Veterans be successful in business. He teaches an entrepreneurial boot camp for Veterans at St. Joseph's University, and at Boots to Business for Veterans, an entrepreneurial program offered through the U.S. Small Business Administration. He is a member of the Board of Directors at Grunt Style, a Patriotic apparel company committed to creating a quality product while supporting the Military and First Responders communities. Jerry is also a member of the West Point Society of Philadelphia, the International Franchise Association, and VETFRAN, which provides access and opportunities in franchising to Veterans and their spouses.

Jerry also founded the JDog Foundation, whose mission is to support Military Veterans and Military Veteran-related causes - with a particular focus on suicide prevention, PTSD and higher education programs.
