I Hate It But I Love It

This week we're joined by the de-lovely Diana McCallum to discuss the thinking man's blockbuster: Stargate! We discuss how Ra was saved in the edit, consider a rare non-villain-ish role for James Spader, and wonder how many lines Kurt Russell actually had. (Less than 10? (Less than 5?))

Movie Musical Month continues with an adaptation of a musical that everyone tried to pretend wasn't a musical: MEAN GIRLS (the musical?!) Kat and Jocelyn discuss songs that are additive in the sense that "they are added", messy stars that we know too much about, and wonder whether it's wise to pretend the movie you're marketing isn't a musical (it's not). It's a super-sized episode of IHIBILI as we discuss the epic (?) finale to Stranger Things 5!
